This feels almost like an ntr situation if they were more serious about engagement (For those confused, ntr or Netorare is basically a Japanese word meaning cuckold or the act of cheating or haveing feelings for another person. For why this was almost an ntr situation, elphelt was about to have the same feelings for faust as faust was also interested in her [maybe as a fan of her work] but she still went back trying to propose to nago) (Reworded for more clarity)
