ELSA Baithak Series started with a Lec-Dem music conversation with UstadMa Zila Khan. The Lady Shri Ram College Alumnus participated from different parts of the world. It is a warm educative and entertaining event.
There follows about 20 short parts/clips to this particular Baithak / event, in which there is interactive talk between Zila Khan and ELSA students / alumnus, talking about Zila Khan's career as a singer and actor, her innovations in traditional Sufi singing and Jazz and Contemporary style incorporated performances, she talks about UstadGah Foundation endeavours, the reason for making a new Title for women artists called UstadMa and she demonstrates some sufi songs enfolding classical compositions , some ghazals and other songs.
A great effort of ELSA to periodically bring their community / alumnus together with interesting educative and cultural Talks in an entertaining fun way.
