@@marylisbon44 In my opinion it’s obviously one hell of a lot more than the toxic relationship. The relationship is tied, inextricably, to a genocidal mass murdering ideology that has enormous power over her, her family, everyone around her. She is immersed and trapped in evil that sells itself as superiority and purity. She is displaying symptoms of extreme prolonged psychological torture wherein her very survival, that of her family, children, is at stake. She is drowning and has no idea how to save herself, her marriage, her children. She is powerless before the unbearable, the unconscionable. She is doomed and she fears they all are.
If anyone wants to know why she’s screaming at the end here’s why.. So Bruno meets this boy Shmuel (the boy in the striped pajamas) and Shmuel’s father goes (missing) so Bruno digs a tunnel under the fence to help find Shmuel’s father, but they are swept up by a group of prisoners being taken to a gas chamber, where all of them die. :(
