I can't stop thinking how hard this show would slap of it were about a lesbian (Jamie) and a recently out bisexual (Kathy) trying to figure out a relationship. You can't tell me it wouldn't hit differently.
I have a fantasy about a production that has a cast of four (two male identifying actors and two female identifying actors) where there are two performances a week of every possible pairing (Jamie: man and Cathy woman; Jamie: woman and Cathy: man; Jamie: woman and Cathy: woman; Jamie: man and Cathy: man) where the names (particularly Amy as played by a man) works in the lyrics, but shows all the possible dynamics

@@thatsjustkc I thought that Renée was a sure winner even before she got the Globe, the way that the media played it made it impossible for anyone else to win. Having said that, I do think that Cynthia brought one of the best best actress performances this year and either her or Scarlett should have won, and I say this as both a huge Renée and Judy Garland fan
