Titans are so OP in crucible you have to change the entire way you play just to deal with it. The Titan overshield situation needs a nerf badly.

Cam, you've been mostly on controller for the last few weeks (at least on RU-vid; I rarely go over to Twitch, so idk what doesn't make the cut). I'm curious what your goals are re: input devices. Are you trying to be awesome at both for its own sake? Stay informed about the controller vs. MnK metagame? Transition to maining controller full time? Just curious where your head's at on it these days.

Frenzy really needs more recognition. People toss it out bc they argue it takes too long to activate, but it really isn’t. If you’re already dealing or taking damage regularly, you don’t need to do anything else. And it stays active if you’re taking or dealing damage. So the buff can hypothetically stay up forever as long as you’re getting hurt or peppering someone with 1 damage.

The video for which I was waiting. This thing reminds me of relentless, but with frenzy and rewind rounds I feel like a turret. It's incredible.

Crosshair is awful. Gun feels cumbersome. I prefer Cold Denial 👍

Cammy I watched you since you had 2k subscribers but hearing you say can a top player be successful with a high impact pulse on controller was the most ridiculous thing I've heard. Most controller users use pulses cause the freebies of assistance.

Does destiny have input based matchmaking? Like if your on roller does it try to match you with other rollers? And vise versa?

i dunno, getting 2 bursts with the messenger seems easier with rapid hit rather then zen moment

I think it's rough because I want to like it but the recoil direction is just so ugly. Additionally, I have a hard time playing any pulse rifle now in the harder hitting archetypes without just wishing that I was using my crafted Revision Zero.

Is recoil direction that important when you have zen moment ?

Hey Cammy, noticed sum 2 burst kill pulses have keep away and zen moment in the same column like Elsie's Rifle. Which do you prefer on mkb and controller?

HOLY CRAP THAT'S CHIPS IN YOUR LOBBY!!! What an honor.

On controller you need zen and 65+ stability to 2 burst reliably, I've gotten like 50 rolls.. without 65 stab,zen moment it didn't matter what i used at 33+m i lost the two burst. I even got a Cork,rich,K.A,Hs,range mw roll which is double consistency perks and i still just didn't get enough 2 taps outside 33m regardless how much i manually controled it. I got a shiny chamber,rich,zen,hs,stab mw and even tho it has 65 range compared to my 90 range roll it has 'more range' cause it can consistently two burst at its max drop off even through flinch regardless of the -3.5/4m range drop off.

yeah elsies has about even stats to messenger, of course it's great. you can think of it as energy messenger maybe. dont kid yourself zen/headseeker is the best roll. all these meta guns nowdays are so power crept, they're each like the ultimate laser version of a given archetype, bungie honestly has nowhere else to go with them. like, quicksilver storm has 100 stability, it's the ultimate lethal form of a 720 AR. elsies can reach 60 plus handling, which 340 pulses just arent supposed to do. etc.

Had so many ideas for weapons I wanted to pick up from the Brave Arsenal. Now I'm not really happy with a couple of those & thankfully there's a few extras like this! I need two now haha. Repulsor Brace x Destabilising Rounds for Gyrfalcons in PVE, Zen x Headseeker/Desperate Measures for PVP. Same deal with Recluse! Wasn't really fussed & now I need one for Gyrfalcons in PVE after messing around with one! Elsie's was one hell of a pleasant surprise! It's a Stat monster with a serious good perk pool! Sign me up+

For some reason (probably because I am not all that good) I am much better with pulses than hand cannons, and this is definitely the strongest energy pulse I have used. I feel like I can compete with stronger players in 3's using it. My roll is chambered, ricochet, zen, headseeker, range masterwork by the way.

This thing is so good and nostalgic. I used the blue strangers rifle in D1 a lot because it was full auto. I have one with dynamic sway/headseeker and got the most casual "We Ran" I've ever had. Literally just point and shoot.

How do you feel about the range on your roll? Mine is almost identical, and I find on some maps I have to switch out zen for keep away to keep up. Also, 2-bursts feel more consistent with KA on.

I’ve been using a similar build but I’m using a roll with loose change which may not be as good as zen but it feels good w/ gyrfalcons

Whats the best class for pvp?

I just realized, they didn't reintroduce timepiece because they wanted this thing to be THE pulse rifle with that perk.

Loose Change/Adrenaline Junkie with a Verity's HHSN is great fun in 6's.

I tested all the combinations of barrels with counter balance stock for the best recoil direction. I found any barrel with +10 RD and NO counterbalance gives the most verticals RD. So either chambered compensator or extended barrel would be my pick personally. And a plus side, that gives you space to have targeting adjuster or quick access sling.

I’ve always thought that an OS gave 45 health, have i been lead astray?

cammy, what do you think about tying mobility to jump thrust acceleration? This would make mobility important to build into at least at some level. I'm tired of titan OS's and every gun has a resilience ttk check that basically benefits every titan and many WL's that don't need to spec into mobility.

What is the TTK for high-impacts if you 3-burst?

Finally a good 340 rpm pulse in the energy slot (yes I know there is phyllo and premonition, but they kinda have a bit wonky aim for me, not to mention getting them is kinda pain in the ass). I love that you can pair it with multimach/LW/huckleberry etc, it's a blast this way. Zen moment + headseeker is a pretty unique combo, the second burst feels like a laser with zen activated. That being said, about the two bursts, I was kinda surprised how rare they've become since I have switched from messenger, and I have said to myself that it's a different gun and that I'll just have to learn it a bit more. After a week it got better, but for some reason my old rapid hit headseeker messenger slaps way more, can't explain it. I even experimented with different recoils, it's good to test it on the wall or something, fire two or three burst and you'll see that most of them goes quite to the left. 83 and 100 feels the best on Elsie (yeah for some reason 83 is better than 88, and the base 73 is an absolute ass though, goes wayy to the left). Or maybe it's the lesser zoom. But regardless, still a great gun, and finally I can put some colors on a NTTE frame other than from an ornament. Anyway sorry for the novel I wrote here, I like dad rifles as you can see

High Impact pulses are 100% results and 0% fun. All you gotta do is play your range and you’re instantly the most annoying player in the lobby

I haven't used this yet but I just don't see how this gun is better than phyllotactic spiral other than the handling and new perk. You can run almost identical stats other than aim assist with rifle barrel ricochet stability mw and counterbalance stock. Like sure zen moment, but the recoil direction on elsie's rifle seems so terrible for landing two bursts compared to the 95 on phyllotactic. Like not only just cammy but I've never seen anyone really landing two bursts on it which is the point of the 340. Anyone is honestly better off with a igneous or 150 scout for the same use case unless your 2 burst is consistent which seems very difficult to do with the elsie's rifle.
