I hadn't tried zekvir normal since I was back around 580 item level. now that I'm at 605 and they nerfed him a bit, I found out my raiding toons can easily kill him in a couple minutes, which counts as a 8 delve in the great vault. so I'm just killing him a few times to fill my vault now, way faster
I've done this as BDK, small tip: If you take him on the little platform, he will mostly spawn the eggs on there as well. So you don't have to look for them or run far away for them.
I don’t understand why they couldn’t have made 25 marks a one-time warband reward for the Derby each week, with subsequent completions that week on alts awarding the 3 (or I guess now 10) marks. They already do that with weekly quests, changing out the renown for shards. It’s just, ugh. Clearly the teams do not have enough communication and/or the leadership is not consistent.
the 2 hour buff up..miracle if it is, but more like 4 or 5. I have almost stopped playing on Tuesdays....that being said...good job on the worst boss in the delves...that bugger showed up in the first delve I tried...I died, of course.
I couldn’t pump Enough dps the first couple Pulls so I Hit the AH bought flasks drums and potions. Went back and killed him , so if you dps for The webbed spider is little low it will Help immensely
For Zekvir normal - he counts as a tier 8 delve for the vault, but he's not bountiful. If you still need champion gear, the bountiful delves are still much better for loot. If you don't need champion gear, you're very much geared enough to kill him comfortably. At around 610 ilvl it'll be a 2min-2min30s fight.
My VDH main can’t get past level 7 delves, principally because she is low on Haste, the critical VDH stat. I managed to get her to 10%, but she’s down to 6% again right now, with the latest 600+ gear drops. Meanwhile, my Prot Pally is at 27% Haste and my Bear, 25%. Probably end up doing delves on these two.
As a ranged warlock on Zekvir...forget ranged, stay on his hip...that cone on the one attack is way to wide to get out of at max range. When he spins toward you to start the cast, just run through him. Make your /tar egg or /tar egg cocoon macro and spam it...save a big CD for it. If you arrange for the egg cocoon to die it's all a matter of dodging the other mechanics and time. Find a warlock buddy for healthstones because agathi healing pots, cave dweller delight, and healthstones are all on separate CDs. And don't forget that the delver's coins drop on all of the bountiful delves, even if you don't use a key...not sure if any drop on tier 8 non-bountiful, but I do know that the crest still drop and if you get the ambush run in Underkeep...well, it takes less than 8 minutes per run for me which had me crafting 619 gear. Now if only I could get some luck with rings. Mahalo for all the Delve love Soul.
Did both Zekvir normal and hard as feral, and all I can say is set Brann as healer, focus the spider cocoon like your life depends on it (cause it does), kick regenerative shell, and pray that his melee attacks don't crit very fun fight, but be prepared to do it a few times before you get the hang of the rhythm
@@UltimateGamerCC my journey is maxed out, braan is 52. Just have a bunch of character or do 28 tier 8 bountiful delves a week. Pick up all the xp things, kill mobs. After 28 bountiful a week braan stops getting xp.
i am totally ready for that buff to Delve gains, right now i got three toons doing their weekly Bountiful runs for gear and i want to get the ability to buy them 580 starter pieces sooner rather than later, so i can get more toons into T8 quicker.
Hey Soul, quick question...why don't any of the major sites (wowhead, icy veins, etc..) have a Delve BIS chart? They all have Raid and Mythinc + BIS gear charts...but no Delve.
@@markuslc1888 that's like saying you can't get BiS from Mythic + so long as Mythic Raids exist...I think you miss the point. The question is: What are the BiS available from Delves.
@@ScottKent no you miss the point you can get BiS from m+, because doing +10 keys awards you with myth track items, t11 delves and zekvir ?? award you with the same hc track items from the vault, and hc track is currently not BiS for a single spec
Zekvir is clear a lvl 7 delve. That's as far as i've gone and I tried Zekvir. Did ok, but missed an interrupt and got blasted because of the slow. Going to attempt at again later this week.
more than anything it's all about doing the mechanics right, Brann can help keep you alive with those Pots and offer Chip DPS, but you'll have to do most of the hefty lifting. Tanks will have the easiest time surviving but also need to dish up enough damage to kill the spider before it hatches.
Kinda stoped caring after I completed the story… found delves cool the first time, not really into the quests in most of the zones that isn’t In The spider place…wish there was more pvp options
PVP will have their updates, they got a minor one for now, but i sense a rework in the coming days. the Dev team have been slowly overhauling the game little by little, hammering the most painful points, eventually PVP will be their priority.
I've just come back after being gone since BFA. I've always played dps and I'm loving wind walker, and I'm thinking about learning healer to help my tank friend. I didn't understand half the terms you use. Does that mean I shouldn't bother?
welcome back, it will help if you learn the terminology, but also good news if you want to try Heal, Follower Dungeons can let you be a new healer without fear of getting kicked or catching hell for letting the Tank die. practice until you feel comfortable to get into the thick of things. also, Healers no longer have to be so twitchy, but you will have to answer the incoming damage.
@@UltimateGamerCC Yeah the increase in solo options is why I'm back, since I don't have a lot of free time and have always feared not being good enough for groups.
can you make a video about why tender is good? I must be misunderstanding, but I think you essentially cap tender just from playing the game? so is it wrong to think of the trading post as flashy things paid for by your subscription? and if that's the case and there is no scarcity or exclusivity built into the rewards then they don't symbolize anything you've accomplished except paying your sub... right? I am casual, but I don't think players who do the bare minimum should get the coolest things. would love a video where you dive into this topic and really look at both sides of the argument here.
Tender is really easy to cap on, as long as you are not Raid Logging you will likely get enough to fill the bar. on some months i've filled the bar on the first day or two.
