This hair is a result of very old school "plug" transplant ...the back of his head has a bunch of small circular "bullet hole" looking bald spots and/or a "C" shaped horizontal scar
Yes, that day he did a press conference two weeks before that world tour started in Sydney. The whole band where there. I managed to get into the conference, after which he played tennis with John Newcombe and two other famous Australian tennis legends. After that he did this interview. After this he came back and played tennis with band mates. I wasn't leaving until it was over. I then got his attention and he was very kind and I got a hug and kiss plus he autographed a music book and record. Two weeks later at the first show of this tour I was at front of stage whereby he recognized and acknowledged me! I have to say it was a dream come true meeting him. All told I got to spend approximately 4 hours in his presence. No photos unfortunately but I am seen behind him on the court at beginning of this interview. Over the years saw 16 concerts, including two of the farewell shows.
Absolutely. 3 shows that tour. His voice cracked and afterward he had the operation on his nodules. Always put on a brilliant show. My favourite song has always been Levon. Over all the years he only ever performed it twice. Once on solo tour with Ray Cooper back in 79 and one of the 3 shows on the Tour De Force. I was so excited as I thought would hear it twice more, alas only the once...
Oh he said he loved France. We love too Elton ! Actually he lives now in Nice south of France, up of my street (up is luxuous...I live down the street 😉)
I believe that. If you look at "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," which I think was 1975, his hair is bleached blonde. And we know how harsh that is for one's hair.

I also want to commend you for not "GRANDSTANDING" on every ELTON concert & videos about ELTON JOHN! I admit I make alot of comments about ELTON, because I'm not a new fan. I've been a HUGE & REAL FAN 48 yrs. I do admire people such as yourself! Thanks for not trying to outdo other ELTON fans; As I have a competitor that I've been dealing with for a few years now. It's all good between her & me NOW! I guess you can equate it to Elton's & Rod Stewart's rivalry; only the other Elton fan & I do not argue anymore. Thank God! ☮️
