Yeah I just checked this video, and another live version of this song, with Liv Kristine as guest singer...Anna's voice cannot be forgotten, the band will have hell a lot of work to find somone who will be accepted amongst the fans.
I love this grunting... he is a great grunter, you can just hear what he grunts also... the singing is just impressive and the instrumental is amazing... great band
one of their best albums to date. if you have not gotten a chance to see hem live that is a real shame. i have all their albums and they are one band i always try and catch in town., i even went on a boat to see them play :) 70000 tons of metal was sick that year
Yes, you are right. 'Anime fairy tail' is very cool. I like this particular 'folk metal' band a lot because of its fusion of female vocals along with really effective death vocals. Also the fact that they pull this off live is what makes it even cooler.
I had not heard of Eluveitie until recently. Although, Korpiklaani, and Vintersorg are both brilliant representations of the sub-genre of folk metal ( Amorphis has to be considered a true originator, and major influence for these bands) Eluveitie not only features great female, and male(death) vocals, but also very cool flute, violin, and accordion. At the end of the day though....their music is both extremely heavy, and very cool & fun to listen to.
Bloody nice video. This band, this damn band is among the last must see bands on my list and the live captures I see only makes it worse. The next Euro trip and I'll try to see them a couple of times just to get it out of my system, I envy you the awesome position for this great live song post.

damn, i swear this song sounds even better live. especially because anna makes it sound so easy while it's clearly a bitch to sing. she has such a beautiful voice
uno dei gruppi piu sottovalutati della terra , e nei live spaccano. non capisco come faccia la gente ad ascoltare i system of a down (e nei live poi, poveretti... il chitarrista secondo me non conosce neanche il pentagramma, riesce puntualmente a cannare le note in ogni canzone...) e come facciano a riempire i concerti! questi sono veramente bravi, SEMPRE
if ur interested look up some of the songs from the anime fairy tail imho its the best respresentation of folk metal at its best and it isnt trying to be anything other then folt metal unlike eluv but i do like the death metal influence of eluv though
