A lot of people seem unhappy with their movement into this more melodic deathy kind of music. But I like it, I personally would prefer a bit more emphasis on vocals with instruments intended as background a little more but its nice, I like the way they are evolving helvetious was awesome

Wow... This is great! I don't know why I never listened to this band but I think I will gladly make a change! :)

I actually new for this kind of melodic death combined with traditional instruments (or any kind instruments that are not used for other bands), i following them about a year ago, when the early years came out, and just browse some other songs from their earlier albums.. but this kind of music was what i expected, the portion of melodic death and the traditional part really come in balance and create a good symphony... good job Eluveitie, keep the traditional part coming :)

I have mixed feelings about this. I like, that they varietes (variets?) their own style, but i just don't like the violin, it's to aggressive... But hey, it's the first metalband i've ever liked, and they opened for me a new world so... i'm really looking forward for the new album :3.
