Eluveitie is a Swiss folk Metal band from Zürich, founded in 2002 by Chrigel Glanzmann. The project's first EP Vén was a studio project of Glanzmann's but it's success led to the recruitment of a full band. Chrigel Glanzmann does vocals, mandola, whistles, pipes, acoustic guitar, bodhrán, and harp. Kay Brem plays the Bass Guitar. Rafael Salzmann plays the Lead Guitar. Nicole Ansperger plays the Violin and does backing vocals. Matteo Sisti plays the Bagpipes, Whistles, and Mandola. Alain Akermann plays the drums and Jonas Wolf plays the Rhythm Guitar. Michalina Malisz plays the hurdy-gurdy. Fabienne Erni does Vocals, plays Celtic Harp and Mandola. Eluveite describe themselves as "The New Wave of Folk Metal." Their lyrics are in a language called Gaulish and this from Etruscan Celtic Mythology and routed in Celtic music. This is actually melodic death metal. They rock!! Mahtava!!
Sin demeritar el talento de sus actuales integrantes, creo que sin Anna Murphy y Nicole Aspenger, a la banda le falta ese toque vocal y musical que le imprimían ellas dos. Aun así, me sigue gustando su música.
La nueva chica de la zanfona tiene cero actitud, como si sólo se parara ahí y moviera los dedos de memoria. Para mí es muy importante que no sólo sepan tocar sino también entretener (ejemplo, el nuevo guitarrista le pone bastante esfuerzo al espectáculo).

Los he visto 2 veces en Estados Unidos, esto cuando sun estaban , Merlin,Ivo,Anna y Toda la segunda alineacion original y la energia era un Tanto diferente , pero la vdd aun asi suena demasiado bien. te juro Como personas tbn son geniales! muy amables y humildes
Not for me. Music matters as much as the show itself in a concert. If I go to see Eluveitie, I want they to convey me their musical ideas through their performance.
Horrible? Man clean your ears... The new singer has a very nice voice! Maybe you don't like how it fits on Eluveitie's music but c'mon, you can't say her voice is horrible...
