Same. I saw them when they where touring with Lacuna Coil and Infected Rain late 2019 . Didn't even know who they where when I got the tickets. Best concert experience I have had.
I've had chrigel point at me at shows here I think I'm good luck or oh its that asshole again.Everything seems to go well and they come back but I might be the only black guy at their show.So don't know if it's good or bad but unlike U2 they keep coming back..
Right, and the Romans killed mostly all Druids at their highest Festival on this Island and destroyed the Celtic culture before the christianity comming with the Romans after them. Sorry for ja Bad english, greetings from Germany.
The two first songs are adaptation of bretain classic folk Music. I saw them two times live, amazing band. The Ana Murphy’s band called Cellar Darling and its very good too.
I love this band! I love the contrasting clean and growling vocals. If I am not mistaken I believe that the female vocalist is also a growler. I would love to see your thoughts on the Butcher Babies!
Great band ! I’ve seen them live as well , sound wasn’t very good live I have to say because they have so many instruments , this band deserve good venues to show case all the amazing instruments , Arkona , has the back pipes however and sound great live ! Would love to see that reaction as well
It depends on what they have. A band like Eluveitie NEEDS good sound techs and audio equipment to sound great live. That's not a diss on the group, given the numerous instuments and intricate instrumentation required, it's a MUST for live performances.
Good choice inis mona and omnos my favourite.Maybe you can take a look at these too ; The Hu: from Mongolia Tengger Cavalry: from Mongolia Shepherds Reign: from New Zealand Dalriada: from Hungary Pentagram aka Mezarkabul: from Turkey.
Excellent band! I discovered Eluveitie in 2009, but I wish I had known about them a year earlier. I went to the 2008 Chicago Metal Fest on day 3 to see the return of Matt Barlow to Iced Earth. Day 2 was Eluveitie, Tyr, Ensiferum, and several other folk metal bands that are big now.
Was so happy to catch Iced Earth with Barlow coming back. Had seen IE with Barlow back when he had a long mane of glorious red hair and it was a bit of a shock to see him completely bald 😅 I like Tim Owens but Barlow is just another level and gets so much more emotion required for some of Iced Earth's songs.
Eluveitie is one of my favourite bands. I love the power of the combination of Celtic Folk and Death Metal. To hear a bit more of the fiddle (violin) played by Nicole Asperger try "King" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--AawUSC6hGY.html . She has a nice solo there challenged by Chrigels tin whistle. This was in 2014 after Meri Tadic (fiddle/vocals) left the band. In 2016 when Anna, Merlin and Ivo left Eluveitie and founded their own band "Cellar Darling", I thought this was the end of Eluveitie, but then Chrigel found Fabienne and Michalina who replaced Anna. Fabienne Erni and Michalina Malisz have their own RU-vid channels where they occasionally post covers of songs from other bands. In some of the recent posts ("Nothing else matters", "The Pretender" (both collabs of Fabi and Micha) and "Thorne" (collab of Micha with the Harp Twins) you can even hear Michalina sing (usually she only plays the hurdy gurdy in Eluveitie). I find that very interesting and I wonder if we will hear her nice voice on some future Eluveitie songs too.
I'd love it if you would react to JP Leppäluoto; he's a criminally underrated Finnish singer who has done a lot of work in both Finnish and English. His current solo music is an acoustic rock style, but for metal I'd recommend "Colder" (or any song, really) by his first band Charon, or "I Once Had Wings" by Dark Sarah, which he sings solo with the exception of the first chorus (sung by the band leader Heidi). He is amazing.
The band SuidAkrA has quite a few songs with bagpipes...ever since their 2006 album Caledonia at least. However, unlike Eluveitie, they use Highland bagpipes. Check out "Scáthach" off of their 2009 album _Crógacht,_ if bagpipe-metal intrigues you.
Hi guys greetings from mongolia. Pls react to the Toto jurai gelden (төтө журай гэлдэн). Its a pretty fun, interesting song I'm sure you would enjoy it 🎵😄. Thank you 😊
I absolutely adore them and think that Krigel is the best Grawler on the planet. If you like their use of language you should listen to their song Omnos.
Greetings! Awesome band, and great song selection, though I would have picked one song from their acoustic albums for some contrast. Another band I'm a huge fan of, you should check out Wagakki Band (from Japan) someday. Though they're more rock than metal, but I guess that counts too? Just like Eluveitie, they blend modern rock with traditional instruments, but not only. Add to that traditional dances and clothes, as well as Yuko (lead singer) mixing Shigin (traditional poem reciting style) with modern singing style, Wagakki Band is a true showcase of Japanese traditional arts and culture. Sadly most of their music videos will get blocked by youtube, but live performances are where Wagakki Band really shines, and there are "unofficial" (read "ripped off") live videos that don't seem to be an issue for other reactors. Here are two channels that seem to be safe for reactions ru-vid.com/show-UCuydh5k3KpO_zqZK_HzSctAvideos ru-vid.com/show-UC6VpTqSYyf1pI6P-fshdgoAvideos Let me know if you'd like some song recommendations Wishing you a great day, cheers!
