Makes perfect sense strategically and comfort wise for E to stay in that corner suite. Thx for sharing as always. Staying in identical floorplan places must have added to the feeling of not knowing which town he was in, a situation many hardworking traveling performers find themselves in. But being in a near identical room with windows covered every time would magnify that feeling.

That suite definitely fits the Elvis on the move touring template.

That's so cool my husband and I stayed couple floors right below the floor Elvis stayed in ❤ I knew he stayed there, but wasn't sure what room. Also, they wouldn't let us on the 9th floor when we stayed there. Awesome video 😊

I used to deliver water softener salt and would deliver there at least once every other week to that hotel and ride those same elevator and didn’t know Elvis rode those very same elevator

Great video!!! I wonder what Elvis thought of this suite of rooms? When Elvis started his entertainment career, there were times he and the Blue Moon Boys could not afford a single room, but by the time Elvis stayed in this suite, he was accustomed to much grander accommodations such as the International/Hilton in Vegas. Did Elvis take time while he was in this suite to reflect that many, if not most, of his fans would never stay in a suite in any hotel, even a modest one like this? Did Elvis order room service while he was here and, if so, what did he eat? Did Elvis leave his suite to travel down the hall to talk with others of his party? I am sure jokes were told in the living area of the suite... if only we could hear them now...

Are you talking about his 1976 visit? This is where he stayed then. If you mentioned in the video which visit you are speaking about, I missed it.

I’m sure Elvis had some pretty significant vitamin D deficiency, and I am quite serious about that. It likely contributed to his musculoskeletal pain.
