I remember seeing Disgraceland in a record store back in the late 80’s when I was in my late teens I was with one of my buddies and we both started laughing our asses off because of the band name and album cover. I’d never heard of these guy’s or heard any of their music but I knew I had to buy this album even if I hated the music because the album cover was so damn funny and cool at the same time but when I got it home and put it on the turntable I was amazed at how good this was and I’ve been listening to these guy’s ever since! Glad to see Elvis Hitler is still around and playing music!
Same here! I saw the record sleeve made out of packaging cardboard with this crazy name at the store, it was 1988, I didn't even know that they were psychobilly and just loved them at first sight!!
😜🤘 _Fawking luv dese guyz!_ Had the cover of Disgraceland painted on back of my leather jacket back in the late 80's. Their shows in Nashville were a big inspiration on Hank III who was a young skater bouncing around the punk scene at the time. He even calls his music "Psychobilly" with a nod towards their album of the same name.
Saw these guys in the Chapel Hill NC area a few times in the early 90's Glad to see they've had a long , if not extremely profitable or illustrious career. GO see 'em. They are fun. Very good with their fans.
I was afraid to buy their CD back in the day because thought they were possessed by Satan! Or the clerk would have my committed! Now I know better, I love these guys!🤘🤘🤘
