It has been written that Mike interfered once when Lisa Marie was to visit Elvis in Vegas and was saying that Lisa shouldnt be allowed to visit as Vegas was no place for a child.....as if Elvis was going to go out gambling and seeing showgirls perform with Lisa. Also, apparently the reason Priscilla left Mike was because he cashed in with a British tabloid getting like 10 thousand dollars for his story which the cover heading was "how i stole the kings wife." This was after Priscilla was financing their lives, paying all the bills, well Elvis was actually, so Mike cashed in his chips.

I couldn't believe all the people after the Mike Stone interview I heard commenting on how great it was to hear his side and how mature and wise he seemed. I was like, where has been for the last 35 years, and why is he now just coming out of hiding. Was a book involved.... Anyway, I wasn't impressed with what he had to say, and he got twisted up in talking about how he didn't steal Priscilla, that you can't steal a human...that wasn't even close to what the point was about, it was about the gossip magazine that gave Mike 10k for an interview (back when he was still with 'Cilla) in which the articles headline was "How I stole the Kings wife." This was reportedly the reason she left Mike. So, he comes on and totally deflects the actual question about the headline, and gives a 30 minute speech on how one human can't steal a human from yet another human. Where was the podcast interviewer, they weren't redirecting him but allowing him to eat up airtime with his speech. Long story short, I am.with you about Mike Stone.

Every serious Elvis fan knows that Elvis was unfaithful to his wife, and to his later girlfriends like Linda. He hardly ever could have just one woman. Priscilla told Elvis in feb 1972 that she was having a relationship with Mike Stone. As far as his 8th Dan, he got that more as a thank you for promoting the sport. By 1974, Elvis was usually too drugged and out of shape to be able to do some serious karate.
