Elvis' Mom takes over Hollywood & Loving You Set and makes a Cameo in his 2nd Movie. What Happened? 

His Mom was the love of his life. They were so proud of each other. A man that loves his mother first is a good man.

He was on top of the world. The day you shot that scene and seen how happy his mother was Is proud of him

What a treat getting an extra video! Loving You is one of my favorite movies of his. I have so much respect for Gladys. She was just a good southern woman who never changed with all the fame that came with being Elvis’ mother. She was so proud of him. 🥹❤️ A lot of things would have been different had she lived longer 😔

I heard that after Gladys passed away, Elvis couldn't watch Loving You, because it was too painful to see his mom in that scene. I always felt so sad for the timing and how Elvis lost his mama. I'm happy they're reunited, now. 💕

This was a wonderful story and video and I appreciate you putting this together for Mother's Day!! By the way, The Ten Commandments is one of my all time favorite movies. I guess, Elvis already knew Debra Paget (who was in that film) by this time.

This is the second time I have watched this. I think it was some of Elvis's happiest times.. I am happy that Gladys returned home knowing that Elvis was treated so good in Hollywood. Thanks again Trey.

The first time I saw this movie I didn’t know Gladys and Vernon were in it. Then later I was told they were so I took note to watch real careful so I’d get to see them. Now I’ve seen this movie several times and I love the scene with them in it. I’m so glad she & Vernon were in it. Gladys was a delightful lady from all I’ve heard. Loved the video Trey. This is one of my favorite movies from Elvis...I could watch it a thousand times and never get tired of it...he is so sweet in this movie...and beautiful along with Delores Hart...also so very sweet and beautiful. I love that his parents are in the last scene where he sings, 'Gotta Lotta Livin To Do'...Elvis is amazing and in just about every singing scene in this film...He's purely divine...and on all levels..❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks Trey. This is a great video. Gladys was definitely proud of her son. It's a real shame that she died so young. You are right. He never recovered. I dont think he ever loved anyone as much as he did his mom. He was so proud of her as much as she was of him. She was a wonderful mom while bringing him up.

Great video,Trey! That was Carl & Willy Jane Nichols who traveled with Vernon & Gladys to Hollywood. I met Carl at the gate & lived with Willy after Carl passed in Dec 1976. She told me about going to see Elvis in CA with the Presleys many times. 😊 They also went to Tupelo with them for the shows there.

Nie ma się co dziwić Elvisowi, że kochal rodziców zwlaszcza matke, ponieważ tylko ich mial, to była jego rodzina, na matce mogl zawsze polegać, czul się bezpieczny, ufał jej, wierzył,.ona pokazywała mu drogę kierunek, czul jej milosc do siebie, przeżył bardzo jej śmierć, był ieszcze młodym chlopakiem, z nędzy dostal się na wyżyny wszystkiego ,cierpiał po smierci matki , bo wiedział że został sam na swiecie ojciec wiódł swoje życie, kuzyni za pieniadze sprzedali by wszystko (zdjęcie Elvisa z dnia pogrzebu, odrazajaca rzecz sprzedac zdjecie Elvisa w trumnie, nieludzkie, brak szacunku dla niego, ohyda), współczuję mu , nie miał nikogo, nikogo komu moglby zaufać,zawierzyć.
