I'm 59 years old, first album I ever got was Elvis Golden Hits 1966, he's the very reason entertainers should be very very very careful whom they put in charge of their lives. They, like a mob, will consume you after their own averice(greed, power, jealousy). Can you imagine how great it could have been.

Mac Davis and Billy Strange co-authored “A Little Less Conversation” for the 1968 movie “Live a Little, Love a Little.” The original version by Davis was meant for ARETHA FRANKLIN❕ But when Davis was approached by Strange (who was handling the music for the film) about contributing a number, he realized that “A Little Less Conversation” was a perfect fit for one scene. So he reworked it with Strange. Dixit Davis : “I read the script, and the place where they needed a song was in a scene where [Elvis is] seducing a girl at a pool and she’s talking too much, and he’s trying to get her to leave with him. I had this song already started that I was hoping Aretha Franklin might like, and I wrote it really with her in mind. It just fit right into that spot and they asked me to clean up the lyrics. It was a little funky, I guess, for his image at the time. So I changed [the] lyrics to fit the times.” Mac Davis took some lyrical liberties, making up the word “satisfactioning.” To Elvis’ fans, this was part of the piece’s appeal, but Davis was not thrilled with it, stating : “It’s not my proudest moment.” INTERESTINGLY, the picture “Live a Little, Love a Little” is not a musical, but it becomes one for this one sequence❗️ 💙💭💜 Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed will you remain, Elvis Aaron Presley (1935 - 1977)… 🌹
