Thank you for a wonderful reaction you are a beautiful young lady with a good heart. And did you know that Elvis Presley is the only artist who always sings a song when way he feels it. Nobody else does that
From The UK . We Never Got To See The Great Man .Yet He's Had 21 Number Ones Here In The UK . More Than Any Other ARTISTS . That's The Magic Of Elvis Presley .
Yes we are his fans ..... We know ..... He puts emotion in the words and words into the emotion ..... And he did it in the exactly 769 songs he recorded ..... And the 31 Movies he did ..... And the 2 Documentaries he did ..... And over 1100 Concerts he did in the seventies ..... Yes Absolutely ..... Once you know Elvis ..... You'll know Music ..... No Brag ..... Just Fact .....
Hey hot lady, it's a great reaction and you had a lot of insightful things to say as well. As a musician myself, I was happy to hear you reference the monitor situation on stage. But yeah totally live and just mind-blowing. Just mind-blowing
Younger people hearing this song for the first time don't realize, that it is about Jesus. When your down and out and all alone and can't find a friend, I will be there like a bridge over troubled water. It's telling you to turn to Jesus when in need and all your hopes and dreams can come true. Jesus is always with you. God Bless!
I’ve been watching his performance by video for 35 years and they still blow me away. You are so right, his voice is so angelic and heavenly! And every not on perfect pitch. Never will we ever have another entertainer with that voice and so beautiful to look at! He was just simply perfect
Elvis le plus photographie au monde et Hollywood surtous à armee qu'elle beauté classe charme le plus de toute Amérique aucun acteur ou chanteur revalisé avec elvis
It is accepted that Elvis is the King. This why nobody dares to name their son Elvis. To relive this performance in your young eyes brings me crying joy.
That performance nearly always makes my allergies act up and when you've got someone as passionate as you just really engaging with it, it's just amplifies that effect.
Cry everytime i listen to him & certain songs...this is one 😕 A precious soul....he still touches deep inside in a way not many..if any...can do or ever did!! RIP Elvis...u gave ur all literally 💞🕊
Hey sweetheart, love your reaction to Elvis, it's never too late to discover, the man, the myth, the Legend, there will never be another. I think Elvis should be taught in school in history classes. Too all Elvis fans let me know if you agree. Would you react to it's impossible and how great thou art. Thanks. Lori Tcb 1935
No auto-tune, no voice lessons, just pure God-given talent. There will never be anyone like Elvis, he was the whole package. There is ELVIS and then there is everyone else.
I've been a huge Elvis Presley fan and historian for almost 44 years! Back in 1977 I was 15 years old. When I see your emotion, as you are overwhelmed as a young person after so many years of Elvis`s songs like this song, I am not worried about the legacy of Elvis Presley Music for the next generations! Thank you very much, Wendy, your reaction touched my heart very much!
I couldn't agree more Michael. I've been a fan and historian since I discovered him in 79, I was 11yrs. Elvis is touching a whole new World through his unique talent, looks and charisma. They'll still be moved to tears in a 1000yrs, he spoke to us all if we pay attention.
I've been since ..... When we would go to the drive in movies ..... Back in the 60's ..... I feel the same ..... Elvis ..... G.O.A.T. { Greatest of all time } ..... Once you know Elvis ..... You'll know Music ..... No Brag ..... Just Fact .....
Paul Simon wrote this song. It is a Simon and Garfunkel original. After hearing Elvis sing this, Paul Simon is quoted as saying "How the hell am I supposed to sing this again?"
That was awesome. I’ve said it before and I say it again I love your Elvis reactions Wendy. I think you should do trying to get to you from the 68 comeback special. A different style Elvis but you would LOVE it ❤️❤️
This is exactly the feeling I got after knowing Elvis, I'm happy to find Elvis at this age, 🤗 and yes he just does not sing! He touches your heart and also your soul.❤️
Wonderful reaction again, thank you. We feel his pain, and want to help him, especially in his last year, completely rediculous, we didn't know him, didn't see him in concert, I live in the UK. That's what it is, your feeling it too ❤
Very perceptive of you to note that Elvis performed without the benefit of monitors and for many years couldn't hear himself singing, yet sang with perfect pitch. Wasn't until he was on tour in the early seventies, I believe, that he heard himself on a monitor for the first time. The man's talent is in a universe of it's own, a total one off who could sing whatever he thought, as Kathie Westmoreland once said about him.
Great review. I agree that being a certain age helps understand Elvis's greatness. You can only see how big the gap is between Elvis and other artists until you sample a large enough pool of music over decades.
The words went in through his heart before coming out of his mouth. I think it was Charlie Hodge who said that. It was particularly evident with his gospel (his favourite genre).
Auto tuned sounds like singers are singing out of their nostrils; The King is/was NATURALLY gifted and needed no improvements to what was already Perfect, nor did he ever lip synced 👏
