You are correct. Every guy who grew up watching Elvis wished at one time or another to look like him or sing like him, and have the girls after us like they were after 'The King'.
Don't forget Entertainer! He could be on stage and just sing 🎶 Well well well well well! 🎶 And us fans would go crazy! And he would say "What? I was just welling!" 😅
The court room scene was so great!! Elvis was a wonderful actor. If only he could have done films he wanted to do there is no telling what he could have shown the world!!
There's just something so beautiful, and simple about this film. A life that we allowed to disappear unfortunately. Thank goodness for Elvis and this film.

"Follow That Dream" was my favorite Elvis movie, by far. His acting was so real and natural, I think it was his best performance, ever. Comedy is extremely difficult to do well, and he knocked it out of the park. And when you combine a stellar cast like Anne Helm and Arthur O'Connell with great music, it just doesn't get any better.
Definitely one of his best, but I think Loving You was a good movie with great songs, everyone a hit and such performances by Elvis. Then also Jailhouse Rock. And Wild in the country which was my first Elvis movie.
