He made everything his own and he did it in almost every genre of music. I truly believe he's the"greatest of all time" that no one will ever be able to do what he did, and is still doing in music. I love seeing new generations fall in love with Elvis Presley!
No auto tune no pitch correction just pure perfection. The greatest entertainer this world will ever see. The looks the moves the voice passion power emotion control charisma and magic like no other. When Elvis sang you could feel it he touched you deep in your soul. Long live the King.
Paul Anka didn't write this song. He only wrote the English lyrics. This is actually a French chanson, it's called "Come d'habitude" and was composed in 1967. Sinatras version was released in 1969. But i totally agree.....Elvis blew it out of the water!!!
Frank sang the song great, however Elvis with his passion and emotions took it to another level. It's the same for virtyally every song he covered, Bridge Over Troubled Waters for example. Yes shame the synch was out with the sound and pictures, still a lovely reaction though.
my way was written by Paul Anka, a singer anda song writer back in the 60's, This was written especially for Frank Sintra by Anka who was huge Sinatra fan. Sintra did a great job on the song , and so did Elvis.
This song was written and recorded by a french singer songwriter , sanatra.found found it and had it translated to english and performed it. After hearing Elvis sing it , he begrudgingly admitted Elvis's style and voice fit the song so well it had to be intended for Elvis
I grew up listening to Elvis. My mother listened all the time. Her fav song was falling in love with you. I learned the song at 10. I proposed to my wife singing acapello to that song. He was a legend.
❤ The GOAT.💯☝👍👌🙋 Thanks girl, haven't heard from you in a while.welcome back.god bless you and your family, thanks for loving The GOAT,⚡ TCBTLC ⚡ 🔥🌹☝🎵🎼🎶🤗🌹🎉🇵🇷🇺🇸
It was Franks signature song, but the moment Elvis covered it Franks version almost paled in comparison - Frank was actually upset about it for a time but later accepted the fact Elvis' version was on another level.
Jayy not much i can say about Elvis's performance. But to watch your honest reaction and to see the widely varied emotions passing over your beautiful face is pure bliss to me. Your spirit and your soul pour forth as your emotions change and it is freakin' AMAZING to witness.
I hear so many little nuances going on in Elvis's voice that I just have never been able to put into words. I'm no longer going to try. I'm thinking this is what makes him so good. He does Rock & Roll, Country, and other genres but he's able to do them all at a higher level. Great reaction!
JAYY IS NOW A BIG ELVIS FAN, very good reaction Jayy, when Elvis sings a song with out any moving around he sings it the best, i know we all like it when he dances around, but when he sings nobody can touch him, cam you do WHAT NOW MY LOVE, thanks
Best Elvis albums, "Elvis Presley" ," Elvis(56)", " Elvis is Back" " "68 comeback special" "From Elvis in Memphis" , "The Memphis Record", " Sun Sessions"
Both Frank Sinatra and Elvis did a terrific job with this song , each stood out and each did enough to be considered the first to sing this song, so I guess it's a matter of your choice. Personally I liked both performances but I'll give a slight edge to Elvis
It is amazing to sit here and watch the transformation you have made Jayy over E's music. I am proud of you. I seeeeee you rockin' that Elvis lunch box behind you....See you in Graceland i hope one day
The way Elvis arranged the song was still very close to the original but with a few twists. He definitely made it his way. I've heard him sing it several ways but in a higher octave and it really shows that he has more power and depth. 2👍🏼👍🏼 up!
Hey Jayy..check out the song What Now My Love from the Aloha from Hawaii show. Another great performance by the King! Definitely sure you're gonna enjoy it!
No he didn't! He only wrote the English lyrics. Great lyrics, no doubt. This is a French chanson fom 1967 called "Comme d'habitude". Sinatras version was released in 1969.
I'm pretty sure this song goes way back to even Scotland, and it is about just life and the ups and downs and struggling to survive. Frank wasn't the writer. I don't believe anyone really knows the actual legitimate versus or original writer, but many artists originally didn't like it, and many didn't even want Elvis to record it, but he decided to do it anyway. I think Paul Anka changed some of the words too. But "E" did a great job here with his vocals as usual. He gave the tune new life.
Sorry OLD BLUE 👀 EYES CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD 🙌 FRANK SINATRA ⚡ Your A GREAT SINGER 🎶✨ BUT THE KING 👑 OF ROCK AND ROLL ✨ SINGS THE SONG 🙌 MY WAY BETTER ⚜️ BOTH OF YOU IN HEAVEN 🕊️ NOW BUT NOT FORGOTTEN 💖 AMEN ✨ RIP BOTH OF YOU ✨🎗️⚡ AMEN GOD 🙏🏻 BLESS 💫 THANK YOU VERY MUCH ✨⚜️⚡
In the film Lilo & Stich, Lilo says that when the person listens to Elvis he becomes a fan! And it's true! He has a magnetism that he manages to attract, not to mention his voice, unique talent and the greatness of his people who he was and what he represents in the lives of millions of fans!
You know... this in some way sums up his life. Sad that his manager pushed him so hard with all the touring and Johnny cash introduced him too speed for keeping him up and going and downers too sleep. This killed him slowly..
Unlike Johnny who had June to support him and help him, Elvis had a greedy, lying bastard manager who took half of Elvis' money, kept him in the US (when Elvis wanted to go overseas). Elvis' manager had Elvis shot with uppers after Elvis collapsed backstage, when he should've been hospitalized ...Disgusting and tragic. But Elvis will never be forgotten. He lives on through his songs. That velvet voice...perfect!!
