Elvis Presley News Report 2024: October. Will Lisa spill the beans, or has Riley censored her mother 

Lisa Marie was at Graceland when Elvis died and PB is on public TV saying she was with her. I don't think it's dementia. Lying is nothing new to this woman. Because of her brief marriage with Elvis she feels entitled to be listened to no matter how ludicrous she sounds and no matter how un truthful she is and has been all her life.

I too think Riley will toe the line and not challenge her grandma. They're still a family, of sorts, but I'm secretly hoping she remains firmly behind her mother's legacy and spills ALL the beans. Why else would Priscilla be writing another book? Unless it's just another opportunity to cash in, like when the recent Elvis film was released she also had a flop film made about her

This is what I found on the site of the publisher : "Priscilla is writing another memoir. It was announced on Publisher Weekly’s website that Priscilla has signed a new book deal for her second memoir to come out autumn 2025. This one will pick up where her first memoir ended, and be about “life after Elvis; the passing of her daughter, Lisa Marie; Lisa Marie’s marriage to Michael Jackson; and forging her own identity as an actress and businesswoman, as well as offering never-before-shared intimate stories about her romantic life with Elvis.” I always wonder who will be buying this book. I am an ELVIS fan, so I will not buy it. In recent years I have noticed far too many (and far too often) errors in the stories that Priscilla tells. As a result, I can no longer take her words seriously. I really think the time has come for her to take a step back..., but I don't think she CAN live without the spotlight... :-(

@ElvisPress absolutely agree. I used to have sympathy with her and began questioning my like of Elvis as an individual and as a man. To me, all he did was notice a teenager which all men looked teens so I'm not so concerned about that being as she didn't actually move in til she was almost 18 (our legal age here is 16 and nobody waits that long). Then I noticed her fickle answers and contradictory stories, saying one thing but doing another... then she admitted that they were still sleeping together after the birth of Lisa-Marie. I think she has thrown too much shade on Elvis by changing her stories and therefore I now doubt her. The stories of other people that knew them are more consistent and her actions of suing anyone who dares speak about her in a negative light is telling of the fear she has of being found out. All this, and she's alive. I'm firmly on Elvis's team as his actions spoke louder than anything. Kind, warm, giving, funny as hell and Lisa-Marie was the love of his life. Money is the love of Priscilla's life, her greed and underhandedness have really made her a celebrity, no wonder she wants to be buried at Graceland. Pls God, that doesn't happen. I'd love for that plan to be blocked in court, all 6 burial plots are taken. As for romantic details - what more is left to tell? Woman has been talking for 50 years about how much she hated Graceland and how evil and controlling Elvis was... don't be buried there. Simple.

This is exactly what I thought. If PB had already passed then she would have told the story EXACTLY like her mother wanted. But seeing she has to live and put up with her and keep peace in the family, I’m sure she cleaned it up in regards to PB. She would have made her life pure hell if she had to read what she put Lisa Marie through. I can understand Riley’s version for this reason.

Hi Katgirlblue, Yep...you are correct but I got the information about the other cities which Riley will be visiting on her promotion campaign, just 1 day before the video went on-line. If I knew about it a few days earlier, I would be able to put it in, but now it was known to me after the 'deadline' had passed. But I think I will make note of if in the upcoming video. -- Did you also notice that Riley is in Nashville on October 14....and THE NEXT DAY in London !!! I hope she will catch some sleep in the plane to Europe... ;-). I totally agree about what you say about Piers Morgan or other news reporters. It seems that they are not well prepared and believe EVERYTHING what is being said. There is no fact checking at all! But the thing that annoys me the most is that Priscilla still is able to get interview-time on television. Her PR-management is still great! :-( . We - as elvis fans - know the real story..., but The General Public also believes everything she says! For your information..., you must have noticed the several cuts I made in the Priscilla clip. The reason for that was because she used the word "...uhm..." an awful lot!! In the 3 sentences she spoke I had to cut out about 7 really long "...uhm's...". I really got the impression she was making up that story to get some pity from Piers... Priscilla is becoming a 'sadder' person with each public appearance. But my guess is that she cannot live without 'the spotlights'. Isn't there anyone in her inner circle who can tell her that it is better to take a step back...?

@@ElvisPress apparently not, and I doubt that she would listen anyway. Her entire life seems to be consumed with talking about Elvis - kind of strange, for someone who claims he treated her so badly. She couldn't wait to get out of Memphis to start her new life. I agree, she seems to crave the spotlight, and Elvis is the only way she can be there. Not bad for someone who was only married to him for six years. You'd never know they were divorced for years before he died. It looks like she's on overdrive since Lisa died; now she's announced that she's also on TikTock and don't forget that she's writing a "new" book, so that should keep her in the spotlight for a good long while to come. I wish the media would just ignore her altogether. It has become absurd.

Heeeeeeeyyyyyy Debbie Price! So nice to read your comment. Yep, you send me a lovely contribution to the Elvis Is Everywhere segment, and I was glad to make use of your photos. I - like you - look forward to reading this book, and we should really be glad that Lisa had started writing her memoirs or we would never know about how it was to be the child of Elvis. I already read a little snippet in the People magazine of Elvis going to Lisa's school for a teacher/parent conversation. Can you imagine that! "Well.., Mister Presley, we have to talk about your daughter...; but can I first have your autograph? My wife is a big fan of you ! :-))))))". All kidding aside, I see Lisa as a person who really tells how it is and who does not beat around the bush. But Riley was the one who finished the book. My fear is that some delicate parts may be censored, like her view on the Scientology Church and her relation with her mother. I read a small passage in the People-magazine and Lisa has some wonderful stories to tell! But what will be printed about the relation with her mother and her experiences with the Scientology Church? She has never shared any stories about her relationship with Elvis before. So this will be the only time we are going to hear about her experiences with her dad. Mind you..., Lisa's bedroom was only 2 doors away from Elvis's bedroom (they slept on the same floor when Lisa was at Graceland). So I think they were really close and bonded together. I heard it that Priscilla took with "lisa Marie"to Graceland, thats the Airplane (with same name).Esposito send to get Priscilla and other to Memphis. And ,I think Priscilla is talking about the conversation after Priscilla has arrived at Graceland and has picked up Lisa Marie and gone to where they were supposed to spend the night, because they did not spend the night at Graceland. And there she is talking to Lisa Marie about Elvis before they go to Graceland the next day to see Elvis lying "li de parade". And Sam Thomsen has told that he called him sister and tell her about Elvis and after that gave lisa Marie the phone so she could talk to Linda

What I also 'heard' (but I don't have the evidence of this story..., but maybe you have), that Joe also planned the 'Lisa Marie Airoplane' to also pick up Linda, but that Priscilla did not want her on the plane... Has anyone more information, or is it just speculation that I heard? (Where was Linda on August 16, 1977 ??) Anyone ?

Hoi Ruben, Dank je wel voor je reactie en voor je compliment. Het klopt wat je zegt: Gene Doucette zou eigenlijk veel meer lof moeten krijgen. Het merendeel van de fans zien Bill Belew als de Grote Man achter de jumpsuits. Aanvankelijk was dat wel zo..., maar je ziet dat vanaf het moment waarop Gene de vrije hand krijgt...de pakken ECHT spectaculair worden (in vergelijking tot die uit 1970). Overigens... ik denk er sterk aan om voor de komende video een trivia vraag te maken die betrekking heeft op het Sundial Pak. In mijn research naar Gene kwam ik daar een heel leuk weetje over te weten! Maar wat ik je vragen wil. Er zit een stukje in je comment wat ik niet zo goed kan thuisbrengen.
