My cousin was a member of Elvis' TCB Band, so I got to see him live several times when I was a kid. Life-changing moments that I will never forget as long as I live.
Elvis was a personal friend i have lived in Memphis since the early 70's i met him when i was 17 yrs old. I won a radio show contest the prize was a day with Elvis. I saw him before he passed we had a short talk i was crying he gave me a kiss on the cheek and said i love ya kiddo i said i love you too E. That was the last time i saw my friend alive again. I walk past Graceland everyday without fail. much love from Memphis Tn. Elvis was a genuine sweet man and i will never forget my friend.
His voice is unmistakable and he was its master; his looks and charisma and charm are not equaled by anyone; but you put your finger on it when you said he was entertaining. More than a singer, he was a personality and a world class entertainer. You, my friend are fun to watch.

Elvis was definitely the consummate Entertainer! He was MADE for Las Vegas, One of the reasons he did so well. Another good song of his was 'Long Black Limousine'. You should try it out.

Elvis directed his band through his moves, he was into karate if you cant tell from the moves in this one.... he was also in the Army, as in beginning he was saying hut to, not sure if spelling that right. This is one of my favs because of how he directed the band. One of my top songs of his. Glad you enjoyed it.

The plant is actually called pokeweed and is poisonous in its raw form. The real name of the dish is Poke Sallet, sallet meaning cooked greens. Helped mom pick pokeweed many times and I remember how she made it and it wasn’t just simply throwing pokeweed in a pot and cooking it. Btw in Texas it grows around wood piles.

For the life of me I can not remember the original artist of this song but please check it out. It was great. Just keep in mind that when this was aired on tv back in the day they would only show Elvis from the waist up because they thought his wiggly hips were to prodocative.
