Today we present our RECAP video to celebrate Elvis week 2023! This video is something that is special to J of Team AJ as she is a huge Elvis Presley fan. In this video, we give a full tour of the Birthplace home and Museum of Elvis Aron Presley. In this Guided tour, we had The Executive Director of Elvis Birthplace in Tupelo Mr. Roy Turner. This Tour is a once in a lifetime experience as this is not something you can pay for or even ask for. We were so blessed for the opportunity and thankful to Mr. Turner and the time He took with us!
Why is Elvis Week in August?
Elvis Week 2023 will mark the 46th anniversary of Elvis' passing and the nine-day event will take place from Aug. 9 to Aug. 17 at Elvis Presley's Graceland. This week is also celebrated in Tupelo Ms. as it is the Birthplace of Elvis Presley!

This video has got me crying. I am a 75 year old Australia Elvis fan and visited the USA three times in the 1970s. First time in January 1971 we saw Graceland but just the gates, not inside because Elvis was of course still alive and living there so there were no tours. In April 1973 we were back and visited Tupelo. Elvis' birthplace was just a little shack there on its own with a small sign out the front saying what it was. Nothing else around it, maybe a few houses. What a difference 50 years haa made! In 1976 we returned to the States, to see Elvis on stage in San Francisco. A dream come true. Never thought he would die less than a year later. Thank you so much for this comprehensive video, I will never be able to go back there again, so it is so precious for me to be able to see all these tributes to Elvis being built in recent years.

Ive met and grown up around people my whole life in Memphis TN who knew Elvis. My stepfather knew him in his early years before he became famous. He was Elvis boss when he drove a truck at a job he worked. Im just sorry i never met him but i was only 10 years old when he died and i was too young for his concerts back then. My mom and sister was always true fans of his.

It’s so beautiful at Elvis Presley Birthplace. I have been there so many times. I wish I new you were coming I live in Pontotoc I’m about 30 minutes away. When did you come to Tupelo Ms .
