I am 65 and no one will believe this, but my mom who was too old to do this but she worshiped Elvis. She molded my older brother into an Elvis clone almost, he's 78 now and a failed singer who never grew up (that's another story). She would drive from St. Louis, Mo. to Memphis, Tn. every weekend or every other weekend in the winter from 1963 to 1965 just to take pictures and 8mm film Elvis. My brother came a couple times till he moved out, and my youngest sister who's 75 now had to come every time. Dad came twice. I had no choice. My second oldest sister got all the pictures and films but after she died last year of cancer at 80, and I don't know where or who the pictures went to. I don't remember much except meeting his monkey that scared the hell out of me and the pink jeeps. His cousin or uncle use to work the gate I think and we would go to his house a lot and my sis would go out with his son. I've seen the pictures, even the ones with me in them. One on the front porch with Elvis, my mom, brother, sis, and dad. Elvis was wearing a very shiny grey or silver suit, thin tie and shiny black semi boot shoes pointy as heck. The films are grainy but kinda cool he is riding his motorcycle, he is going into a movie theater, he is at his gate, he's talking to the guard and mostly the rest or him in cars or blurry. The best is him playing football with his friends in full gear and my mom got too close trying to get a good shot and gets in his way and he accidently falls on her. My sis said He was very apologetic helped her up and kept calling her the camera lady. Sis said mom was in heaven and blushing bright red and actually said to Elvis "I'm ok, please knock me down anytime you want." He laughed and so did those around. My mom said when showing this film, after my sister story "Damn right, and I meant it". I have a couple of the pictures but never really got into his music, more of the Beatles and later Led Zeppelin guy.
This senior who lived through it all from the fifties, is so glad that you young people are learning who Elvis truly was. I am appreciative of the young people helping to keep his memory alive, and sharing his incredible music that was left to us. I have not yet seen your other videos, but I see nothing here that would cause anyone to feel that you are spreading hate about Elvis

I'm sorry if any so called Elvis fans have given u any grief....Elvis was loved and Elvis was love...he was probably the most criticized entertainer of all time...white culture because he sang black music and black culture because they said he stole from them but all Elvis did was sing and feel what he felt...we all know his influences and his background and he spoke proudly about it but most of all he wanted to help people less fortunate than himself...the world would be a different place, culturally and musically if Elvis hadn't happened and he would not want any negativity towards yourselves..

Can't think of a better compliment to a channel, or what you're doing, then to get the positive feedback you mentioned from people saying they were having a bad day, feeling down or whatever, and watching something on your Channel uplifted them or made them feel better. That's got to mean more than just about anything. As for some of the hate coming from Elvis fans.. I've seen it. ( I mean I've caught it a few times in the comment section on other people's Channel, and actually got into it with few of them.) It's not a good look. Nor does it represent Elvis well when people calling themselves E fans, but leave condescending comments, criticizing reactions. I've seen this nonsense and it's inexcusable & unnecessary. I discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago and I am a fan! Love what you guys are doing! I have subscribed and have been watching all of your videos. Watching this video tonight, don’t understand why you get hate from Elvis fans because you seem to appreciate Elvis and all of his glory. However, Elvis pushing the polio vaccine is not special. Elvis was very gullable in many ways and that’s why Kernel Parker took advantage of him and made a deal with the Presley family, getting 50% of all Presley earnings when the going rate at the time was never more than 30%. Furthermore, Parker was an illegal alien living in the United States under a false identity and that’s what prevented Elvis from touring globally. Elvis was an amazing person and an extraordinary talent, but not very savvy. I think if he lived in current times he would have been easily tricked in to promoting the Covid vaccine even though it has many dangerous side effects and is not truly FDA approved.

As a lifelong Elvis fan, it bothers me to hear that some other fans are giving you negativity ...I want to remind these fans that this is NOT the kind of behavior that Elvis would ever approve of. He wouldn't like it all. Elvis was a big believer in God , not surprising for someone who I feel was touched by God .. You don't have the kind of fame, fortune, charisma and talent that Elvis had without God's blessings . Elvis knew this, and tried to be the best person he could be . Was he perfect?
