My Mom & Dad saw Elvis when they were filming that’s the way It Is... She got a kiss & scarf from the king... When she passed away In 2013, The scarf that Elvis threw to her was buried with her, along with her TCB bracelet loved to wear...

In 1969 I was 20 years old and on my first visit to LA from London. The friend I was staying with knew Barbara McNair who came to dinner. She had recently finished filming change of habit with Elvis. While with us she called Elvis and he invited her out to see his Vegas show. 4 of us went with her. The show was audio-recorded and can be found on CD. Elvis introduced Barbara from the stage during the show. After, we were all invited to his dressing room. He looked amazing, a beautiful man in fact. Mama Cass was also present. Elvis was friendly, charming & engaging. We were there for quite some time, not a brief meet & greet. An amazing event in my life!

My aunt and her best friend booked an Elvis shows in Vegas in 1973 but her friend had an a family issue at the last minute and couldn't make it, my aunt asked if i wanna to go instead. I wasn't fan of Elvis at the time so I said no, finally she convinced me to go and became fan after the show was over. In hindsight I feel blessed now to have had the opportunity to see him performing in Vegas. Back in those days the stages were in close proximity to the performer, it felt like the audience and performance connected in a personal level which you don't see today, now you need binoculars to see a performer.

I used to work there. Several employees were still there from the opening of the hotel in 1969 and several of them had met Elvis and had stories about him. There is a very odd room below the stage that is not in this video but was used by him.

My mum is a huge Elvis fan. When I was a kid in the 70s, she had a double-bed sized poster of him on the wall in her bedroom. My dad just put up with it, I guess. LOL I remember the day Elvis died, my dad woke us up with a cup of tea and told us he'd heard it on the radio. I still remember that clearly all these years later. Thanks for uploading, Jordan! x

I, too, remember the day Elvis died. I was living in Manhattan and shopping with a friend at the time, when we both heard someone say that Elvis had died. Sure enough, it was plastered all over the front pages of all the major newspapers as we passed by the newsstands. RIP Elvis.

Funny, speaking of Barry Manilow in this video. My mom had a poster behind my parents bedroom door. My dad put up with the poster. Now I know other parents did the same thing. While my mom loved Barry's music. I think they found it more funny than serious (the poster, not Barry's music. Even though it was not my dad's music style).

Jordan-I got to take a tour of this suite a few years ago by accident-we were just asking about the tour in general, times, costs, etc.--and the lady that gave the tours said, “Just come with me” and we got to take this tour for free-except we gave her a nice tip of course! One thing I remember she told us is that the 4 white “lion head chairs” belonged to Elvis’ and were in his Graceland home originally. Enjoyed seeing this all again-thank you so much for doing this!!!

Elvis is in the Building!! Awesome vlog.. don't care much about colonel tom Parker. Liberace and Barbara Streisand and of course Elvis graced the stage and excitement of being in Vegas at the same time.. it was an experience that made Vegas what it is today. Barry Manilow graces on that tradition. Cool going to see where Elvis played and sang to the crowds and Elvis bar! The King is in the building! Barry's pianos and guided backstage tour to the stage.. Wayne Newton played here and Elvis would be covered in various pieces of women's clothing! Tuscany room is pretty elaborate, Elvis's hangouts while in Vegas baby!! Press releases for the enterouge of crews that happened around when Elvis was in town. The suite is very elaborate with a pool and overlooking the city. Pretty much built for comfort of a small group to entertain.. I think I could live there forever.. Mohammed Ali and Elvis giving the bath robe! The Westgate or the International hotel as it was known in Elvis days.. Thank you for taking us there Jordan 🇯🇴

Wow... what a vlog. It brought back so many memories. We stayed at the old Hilton (International) hotel in 1978 a year after Elvis died. The “Elvis floor” was closed and unoccupied when we stayed there. The hotel still had some pictures and posters up and staff at the time, talked about Elvis crashing Tom Jones concert. It was really interesting seeing the back stage, the penthouse room and the hallway to the stage. Elvis had not been dead a year when we went to Las Vegas and staff wasn’t sure what was going to be put in place in Elvis Memory.

I was in the Elvis suite and you did a fabulous job of capturing it. One of the claims is that the pull down bed in the 1st bedroom you visited was where Lisa Marie slept. It was amazing to be in the suite, could just feel the presence of Elvis...goosebumps style. Loved the presentation of this vlog...just the best. Of course, Elvis had a complete orchestra to back him..."That's The Way It Is" was great in showing how the Elvis shows were done. Thank you, thank you very much.

Oh my, I am over the moon on this vlog, what a perfect way to wake up on a new spring day and see how “the king of Las Vegas” rolled. The back stage in front of the stage, floor where he said his prayer... and his room. I have never in my life seen anything as beautiful as that room. When I was young I stayed with my Daddy at the International in a regular high-roller room at the time and it was nothing like this one that is for sure. Thank you so much for calling the Resort and seeing if you could film, The Westgate went out of their way for you allowing us a personal glimpse in providing a vision that none of us could ever imagine. I think next time I go to Vegas I’ll be staying at the Westgate myself. I’ll mention I saw your vlog 🐩 “Thank You Very Much”

Just amazing Jordan. I worked as a Real Estate agent at the Las Vegas Country Club during my time living in Las Vegas. You looked at it out the window in your vlog. It's to the rear of the Westgate and to the left as well. It was the Hilton still and changed hands while I lived there to the Westgate. My only claim to fame in that Hotel was one December when I was leaving the Sands Convention Center. I parked in the Hilton parking garage and so had to walk through the halls of the Westgate/Hilton to get to the garage. A long walk! I came to where the halls convened and there was a small crowd and I was looking as walking at the 15 or so people there and bumped right into a woman who also was looking at the crowd. She was speaking and I knew that voice in an instant. I looked and I said "Oh excuse me!" it was Dolly Parton. She was heading to the elevator with her entourage. Whodah thought?! In your vid you didn't mention and couldn't mention everyone who entertained there. But Connie Stevens was a big one in the 70's as well. Thanks again. BTW are these a "Jah Production"? J

Does this bring back wonderful memories. Every time Elvis played at the Hilton (Or the International), I was there. My girlfriend and I would make reservations. take Friday off work and drive to Vegas. We'd go to the midnite show on Friday, then on Saturday we would go to both shows. As soon as the dinner show was over we would go and get back in line for the midnight show, hoping for good seats. Seating depended on how much you would tip the Maitre Di and how he liked you or what kind of mood he was in. You DID NOT want to upset him...When Elvis came on stage the showroom exploded with us all screaming, When he sang Love Me Tender we knew he was going to hand out the scarves and kiss some of the girls. He had the most beautiful smile and eyes. And he had a lot of fun on stage...I still miss him so...

Next thing you know you will be calling to make reservations at a hotel and when you tell them who you are you get automatically upgraded to the penthouse suite for free just to have their hotel in your vlog for a few minutes....Amazing!!!

Jordan - This was a wonderful video! That was so kind and accommodating of the management to set you up in that beautiful room and give you so much access to their facility and that they kept so many artifacts and feel of the presley era there. The facility is beautiful and all the details you gave were facinating. This was a gem. Thank you so much Jordan. Hope you and Jah are safe and healthy. Blessings - Judith 🎵🎭

Awesome Vlog!!!! (And loved the Michael Jackson song playing as you approached the theater. If only his residency had worked out, he might still be alive today).

Wow, Jordan, thank you for this incredible visit and all the cool information you shared! Kudos to the Westgate for allowing such incredible access. This was so very interesting and entertaining, and moving, as well. One thing that really stands out for me on all your vlogs is the very humble and respectful attitude you always have...thank you for that! ☺️ Safe travels, and my best to Jah! 🐕‍🦺 Meline

It has been over twenty years since I read Peter Guralnick book, (I hope I am recalling this information correctly.) but according to Mr. Guralnick, Elvis decided to have Ms. Streisand anoint the stage, so she could work out the technical difficulties he expected would occur with a new venue. He also attend her first performances on that stage, so he could listen to the sound quality. He also studied/analyzed her performance, and told the persons who accompanied him that "she wasn't working the stage." "She stayed in one place." "A performer must constantly work the entire stage."

My friend Mark worked on the Roseanne Show and was in Vegas with them. After a days filming Mark and John Goodman were walking around the casino and when they saw the Colonel in the high roller room. They went in and talked with him. He lived at the casino and they wrote off him gambling debts.

What a gorgeous room!!! Happy you got to stay in it, Jordan!!! You deserve all that luxury!!! The Elvis Suite is amazing = WOW!!! My Mom and I stayed at the Westgate, but when it was the Las Vegas Hilton in approximately 1988. We saw the Vic Damone show when we were there, and another night we were waiting outside in line to get a taxi cab, and there was a search light going on, and we asked someone what was going on, and they said, "They are making Wayne Newton do a show tonight." Lol

I toured back when Westgate first opened their Elvis exhibit with the jumpsuits etc. The suites on the top floor are spectacular. From what I understand when Westgate took over they said they were either gonna go all in with the Elvis stuff or have no Elvis at all. They went all in and did absolutely amazing with it. They contracted with Elvis Presley Enterprises and created an entire museum and everything. It was beautiful when I went through...
