Elvis didn’t need to go dancing around like a maniac to captivate an audience ..... All he needed was a moment..... A spotlight..... & THAT REGAL VOICE ✊️👑👌 There will NEVER be another like him ☝️😁👍
Well said, he didnt just sing a song he touched your soul with it. REGAL VOICE is the best description ive ever heard of his voice, ive even used it myself as it says it all. Im a 61 year old guys guy, but ive always respected and loved Elvis, his presence has endured so well over the decades i just hope he can see it as he was always afraid he would be forgotten. No danger of that id say, hes part of this countrys and the worlds fabric and noone can take that away from him or his fans.
@@douglewis5701 Yep, and it's hard to believe. My Mom bought a new TV about a week before the broadcast, simply because of the Aloha concert and we sat in the living room to watch it. She cursed every commercial. It was spectacular back then, and better now with remastered sound and video.
I am nearing 53 and was a fan before he died. Would stand in front of my dresser at 6 or 7 with one shaky leg singing to any song, You are SO lucky to have seen him live. I would trade my entire collection for that moment.
Sadly I wasn't even born by the time he passed away so I never got the opportunity to see him on stage and it's a little sad :( But I've listened a lot to his music because my mom listened to him a lot when he was alive. And Elvis was for sure one of the true giants ever lived!!
this entire Hawaii concert has yet to be topped. Elvis at his most powerful. Keep in mind ALSO, this was just a few months after he and Pricilla finalized their divorce. You KNOW he was feeling every song he sang that night!
When he's in the eagle outfit he's doing a concert in Hawaii all of the proceeds went to the cancer society this concert was the first via satellite to air
I don't know if it's true, but I read where they said there was no set charge for a ticket. You only had to pay what you coukd. If that's true it sure sounds like something Elvis would want. I don't know if it was this concert or not, but Elvis would pay all the cost for the concett. I don't care what some people say about him, but he had a heart ❤❤❤of gold. I don't know if a my other entertainer that did as much good for people as he did!! And in the end when he was heavier and sick, the tabloids had to write and say he was far and ugly. How could you say that about someone who have so much of himself for others. Can you imagine how that must have hurt him!!!! So sad and cruel. RIP our dear sweet Elvis until we meet in heaven someday I Prsy.😇
Notice In that final note, in the last " goodbye ", you can see Charlie Hodge behind Elvis completely delighted ... this man had feeling, charisma, presence. Even without moving much we could not take our eyes off him, any movement with his head, his arm emanates charisma ... his presence filled the stage. THIS MAN IS GORGEOUS!
I'm very happy to see this younger generation is finding out how great Elvis Presley was. This baby boomer was very, very, happy he was part of my lifetime. He was the Greatest !
I think I speak for all of us when I say it fills our hearts with joy to watch someone else enjoy the King as much as his fans do. It's hard to explain just how amazing he is unless you actually take the time to see what he was all about.
Jamal... can't thank you enough for experiencing Elvis, like my generation did. We loved him, and always will. Words can't begin to adequately describe the feelings we have for him... The poor, gospel/R&B singing truck driver from Tupelo Mississippi; whom God gave a voice & presence unlike anyone else, and unmatched by anyone else. R.I.P. Elvis, you're loved and missed by millions of people, each and every day.
Watching Elvis to is like a visit home...I am thankful God shared him with me. He has been bringing comfort to me for 60 years and I will enjoy him forever. Thank you so much for "getting" him😉💞
@@jamelakajamal can you do a song called sweet sweet spirit, his backing singers, JD Sumner and the stamps sings the song. With Elvis by them just listening. Remastered version 2015 Thanks
Elvis took every song he sang to a heightened height which made it impossible for anyone else to come close to achieving. It’s why we consider him “The King”. He had such a beautiful voice that transcended others, he was a true gift from God. We are all blessed to have witnessed this profound gift that Elvis shared with the world. Elvis without a doubt is my favorite of all time. Love You Elvis!!!
It is also amazing to hear (except for the off hand screaming woman) how quiet the audience is during his performance. You can hear a pin drop. That is the mark of a great entertainer and the respect the crowd has for him and his gift.
much more screams in the rehearsal concert and his hair looked healthier and hang your heads in shame RCA coz his voice and overall sound were well below par- for such a monumental concert- Elvis was superb considering.....
Wow how his voice has progressed from That's alright mamma to What now my love. So powerful. These were the days when ppl went to see a LIVE concert and it was actually live. No one can match Elvis in my opinion. X
And he really did think no one would remember him when he would pass. I know he is looking down from Heaven and is pleased that we fans will always love and protect him. Also I know he’s happy about the new fans that weren’t born when he was alive.
I agree .I..don't cry daddy done ( posthumously)with his daughter Lisa Marie? You'll need Kleenex.... she lost her daddy at 9 ( I was same age) and spent 3 days during wake in their home refusing to leave him....heartbreaking
You just witnessed the greatest entertainer this world will ever see. The power, passion, emotion control and charisma like no other. No auto tune no pitch correction just pure perfection. Elvis had it all best looking man on earth best voice ever heard and when he sang you did not just hear it you felt it. Elvis could touch your very soul like a God among men. Elvis was a gift to us all from GOD himself. Log live the KING.
Once in a lifetime doe,s someone like this come along,Thank God he gave us Elvis.Never again will we see this A true entertainer like this.I saw him twice in Lakeland Fla,june 1975,Then in Feb.1977in Orlando Fla.I will never forget the impact this man had,and still doe,sOn million,s of fans worldwide Gone too soon!!!
At 3:40 he gave me chills...and i knew it was coming since I know every Elvis song frontwards and backwards..Still takes my breathe away after 50 years
This song was originally in French, many artists of that day recorded it but no one I mean “NO ONE” ever did it with the emotion & power like Elvis! There’s audio of a even better version he did in 1974 in Vegas of this song!
Rock, gospel, blues, ballads... I've listened to everyone and never heard anyone be able to sing so many genres, so well, as Elvis Presley. Vocally, I think he stands alone and that's even before you bring in all the other elements that make for the TOTAL PACKAGE! While Elvis has a way of personalizing every song, as if he is singing just for you, and reaches out and touches your heart!
Welcome to My World is a great song, all of his songs were fantastic and the Aloha from Hawaii concert was excellent. I would encourage everyone to see the entire concert.
Love seeing people in my age range enjoying Elvis. He's my absolute favorite forever! He's the coolest cat ever and wore his heart on his sleeve and in his voice like no other. A true legend. That's for the kind words towards my inspiration!
Okay,. So here’s the thing about Elvis,. He could do that! He could stand perfectly still & barely Move his leg,.& The Crowd would go Wild! That’s Why Elvis was The King of rock n roll! He just had IT!!! 😂👍. 😃
You are without a doubt my favorite reactor... I'm glad that Elvis is still getting new fans like you.. he's been gone 42 year's and the man still out sells everyone
Just the greatest entertainer, others are very good, fans of them, but Elvis is a force that just had an unbelievable presence. Changed music, changed culture, opened doors for others to get the appreciation they deserved & a great humanitarian. God Bless!
Honest to god, I've been listening to Elvis' music for some time now and I never listened to this song. I got chills all over my body, I got really emotional listening to his voice, and as a musician myself, I have to say this is overwhelming. So much emotion in his voice, he really sings not for money, but for the masses and just listening to him you can feel without a shadow of a doubt that he had an enormous heart and a beautiful soul. I don't even know what else to say, I'm so overwhelmed with emotion! Keep up your journey listening to his songs, you won't regret it. I wish you and everyone in this channel the best, with all my heart ❤️❤️
Never tell such a thing, otherwise the result will be as simple as : 2 years after postage = 2 thumbs up (if not 0). At least , with me it will make 3 thumbs up...
I saw this on TV when I was about 4 years old, again when I was 5, and seemingly every year for most of my childhood. I knew even then that I was watching the greatest who ever lived and ever will live.
Once again. The feeling he have when he sings, he almost hypnotise you, you get so involved and so drawn into the song and him when he performs and when it's all over you almost wake up from that state, crazy.
Thank you very much for sharing jamel, and god bless you and your family ❤👑 💯 amen 🙏nobody but nobody has the vocals that the👑 had that was live from Elvis,in Hawaii concert.
There are no words to describe this masterpiece of Elvis'! This is , most definitely, the King at his greatest! You are right: although his humility & his faith ,never allowed him to be comfortable being referred to as "the king-"- there is no other fitting title! Let's just say that the one King he ( & all of us) know, gave him this angelic, marvelous voice so he could express the Lord's love to the world, just as he does in this passionate number, straight from his very soul! Thanks for your honest & awesome reaction! I look forward to the next one!
4 Best Moments From Aloha From Hawaii 1. An American Trilogy 2. What Now My Love 3. You Gave Me A Mountain 4. My Way Also Very Good Is Something Suspicious Minds I Can't Stop Loving You
Wow! What a terrific, wonderful, amazing sung with such amazing passion and feeling as No one else could nor can ever touch this sound except our own ELVIS!!!!💞🌟 He is so very much missed. Take care Elvis, you will never ever be forgotten.
@@palomarodriguez3308 Sinatra's version of What now my love was a joke lol,,,and so many people like his version better than this ,,,thats just crazy to me
This was the rehearsal for the show. There is another performance on the actual show shown on tv( via satellite) His hair is styled different too. Both breath are breath taking performances :)
