Best looking man i have ever seen, this is dixie from texas, i was in love with elvis since i was 15 yrs old i am now 62, i have great pictures of elvis, i belonged to elvis fan club i got pictures that was sent to me camera kind, i have a great photo album on elvis.
Once again Spa Guy another goodie!! Love seeing these places again and knowing they aren't torn down. But seeing these videos makes me a little sad that Elvis is no longer with us.
I have been to Graceland years ago when the only thing across the street was the gift shop and ticket center and parking. It was February 27th circa 1992. It was my Birthday and I was given the royal tour by a dear friend Mr. Harold Lloyd (RIP). Because of Harold my manager Bill Kinard and I received a private tour after hours of the car Museum, and yes...he opened the Blackhawk Stutz up for me. I didn't find it appropriate to sit in it. Though I think he would have let me. I was like a kid in a candy store, and it was all such a thrill. Of all the things Elvis that I saw and got to touch, the only thing I didn't get to see was Elvis' bedroom. Harold said that was because there was still a member of the family (Dodger) living upstairs at the time. But I must say that Spa Guys videos bring that same certain thrill that I look forward to with each one of his presentations. Hope your back is well, and that you are feeling better. Your friend Luis
Elvis's grandma Dodger died in 1980! Only his aunt Delta lived at Graceland until she died in 1993. But she never lived upstairs!! And nobody is allowed to go upstairs.. No one.. It was left the way it was when Elvis died. As Lisa said, she's got the key to that part of the house and she is the owner of the house.. She would never allow anyone to go into Elvis's rooms upstairs.. Even he never did.. You were only allowed to go up when he called you!!

Yeah, between the surgery and the tour and everything else, you're spent/ So, take a nice long weekend and then get back to work Monday making more videos. lol. BTW, it wouldn't hurt to advertise where we can purchase mp3's or CD's. TCB
Hello from England I am just loving your locations videos around 60 years in space of time. Some locations now look very "TIRED" to what they looked like originally but hey that's time for you Its like you go on vacation to say Italy 20 years ago and you go back to the same place because you loved it the first time round and now its rubbish and not how you remembered it Thats life

15 thumbs down???????, I just don't get some people, the spa guy is the only person on RU-vid that spends his spare time researching things that others do not. His videos are brilliant, it shows you the elvis we don't hear about, I wish he would put all these photos into a book, I'm pretty sure they would sell like hot cakes.

I love the boots Elvis wore in the photo. Classy, well fitting and shiny soft leather. I've looked online and in stores for similar boots but can't be found anywhere. Finally in January I found slip on shoes that have a similar shape but are not boots.

Another great video.... It kind of challenges the myth that Elvis could not go out or that he always needed his guys and clearly through your videos im learning he did... It's a pity to see areas have become very run down like the last restaurant you showed looks closed down.... Thanks for the work u do
I agree Noel, He still went places and ate and got around Memphis quite a bit.. I think there may have been an unspoken rule like there is in Nashville that is you see a Star out like that you leave them alone... I see Stars all the time out and never bother them it is a thing around here.. That restaurant was closed and had actually been another type of business for about 10 years... SPA GUY ONE thing I think of when I see all the different Elvis pics that so many fans and professionals have taken, Elvis must have been one of the most photographed men ever. There’s thousands of pics of him.
I've been to Memphis once in my lifetime back in about 1988. I brought a piece of machinery from the factory I worked at to have some machine work done. I didn't really drive around that much because I was in a Hertz/Penske moving truck however I did go to Graceland because I had about a two day wait on the machinery to get finished. The area where I was at, as far as I can remember was, seemed like a fairly rough area. I remember a guy trying to talk me into buying his 14K gold necklace so that he could get some gas money. He followed me into the gas station being very pushy so I looked it over good, it looked and felt real, had 14K stamped on the clasp and so I gave him like $50 for it then later that night at the motel, thinking I got a bargain, took a shower and went to bed. The next morning I got up and my neck had a green ring around it! 😮 Lesson learned!

@@SpaGuy Sure hope so. Short story. When my dad immigrated to the US from Easter Europe in 68 it was the most exciting moment of his life. The second most exciting dream come true was when he saw Elvis in 72 at Madison Square Garden. He adored Elvis from when he was in his country,before he immigrated to NY,USA. Thought I'd share that little story of my father's :)

Lyn, Thank You we are doing well.. I just got back off tour on Monday morning about 8am and I am slowly getting back to normal.. I slept almost all day Monday but I am taking time during the day to edit so I will be putting put several Elvis videos soon.. I was took busy on tour to edit but I did film a bunch.. No Elvis stuff though..

So cool! Funny how there is a small sign behind and to the right of Elvis that says "don't park here." Haha... it seems like the building across the Blvd. that is visible in the photos is there still too. Thanks again for these great videos - I look forward to them!
Yes You are right Elvis would park there because of the sign I would imagine.. And Yes the garage across the street is still there.. I actually shot more footage of the building across the street last time in Memphis and could not find my footage and didn't want to hold up the story so I published it.. Good Eye blizzardbaby...
