God blesses the Humble❤Elvis is a humble man; always blessings everyone he could❤️ Loving and giving to his fans❤️Displaying his genuine heart for God through his love for all people❤Elvis' time was never his own ❤God every night after his concert🙏💟✝️Praising God is one of the important part or worship🙏❤️🤟 Elvis' love and respect for JD was always very honorable 🙏💟✝️
Awesome vid! If I was E's manager or friend I would have got him out of Vegas after the Aloha from Hawaii. He was still in great shape and happy and I would have sent him on a vacation in Hawaii got his sleep, diet, exercise, spiritual life, social life, going out and walking in public all fixed and then would have sent him to an international tour and more.
- - - - Imagine this....... Elvis fan collectors united, shareing openly/freely with each other and creating a database online to watch ALL of what is in their hands, solely for the love of Elvis. Great if an amateur would enhance what exists. And if need be instead, put it all on DVD (for reasonable price) and let's get it into our hands before we all pass away.
Thanks for the shoutout man! August / September is one of my favorite engagements, multiple new songs got introduced, the cool two piece suits and also very cool, some of my favorite suits!
@@ElvisistheMan_Hey, I totally agree with you on the My Way evolution in this engagement it’s such a great song maybe we can talk about footage over instagram
Él es único. humilde, empàtico, generoso, desinteresado, amoroso ... simplemente ELVIS. Nunca habrá otro como el. ELVIS FOREVER ❤️ Gracias por compartir estas historias.
With all the talents Elvis possessed, he still appreciated and admired JD's and others talents! His humility was just one of Elvis' great qualities! Ty for sharing this moment and great footage with us! 😊

This is also right around the time when Elvis went into a funk and many times spent half the show just standing there without moving a muscle. I'm sure you've seen the clips of him doing Hound Dog, Blue Suede Shoes, Johnny B Goode and others without even a shaky leg. It comes to mind when thinking of Marty Pasetta's meeting with Elvis in Vegas and telling Elvis that his show was boring. Elvis of course still produced a ton of great music in 1972 and the more I listen to newly released EOT, the more I appreciate how well he sang for most of that tour.
Sometimes jd and his other quartet group members on the Gaither homecoming shows on Christian tv,the whole place was filled with great southern Gospel ,old and new. It was always a thrill for me to listen to them.
Thanks for this great video. Elvis was a goodhearted human being. He did not do jealousy and negativity towards other entertainers. He was pure and spontaneous and wise. He loved when other people were talented and to then put them in the spotlights.
There's still films and pictures of the king in people's basement and attics that haven't been discovered yet by the grandchildren and great grandchildren yet. Thank you sir. You are the man. Good night Graceland. Texas
That's such a typical thing for Elvis to do, he was such a humble man. He never thought of himself as the star of the show and was always appreciative of everyone else on the stage with him. I didnt realise that him and JD went back that far, that's so cool. Thanks for sharing this.
Yes, Elvis showed that you can be great and still be humble! I just watched Vegas:The Story of Sin City from CNN. It's a 4 episode series and Elvis gets a good amount of coverage and much praise, respect and recognition for all he did in Las Vegas. Loved it ! Must see if you can.💯👑
Elvis said, God made a mistake when he didn't make me a bass. Elvis just loved to hear JD sing. You can tell it in a sing-in they did after a show. He got as close to JD as he could, I think to hear JD sing. JD said, Elvis was one step below Jesus Christ. JD loved Elvis, you could tell it. All his band members had nothing but good to say about Elvis. I would say because of his kindness and always saying how great each of the band members were. So honored to have seen that video. Thank you so much for showing it and the kind comments about Elvis and JD. Bless you.
Elvis had a baritone range of voice. I don't know if he's had educated it along his career. But I know that J. D. Sumner, with his bass voice, was one of the heroes of Elvis youth in music... P.S. David, I've never noticed the diference in height between J. D. Sumner and Elvis till this video.
I am glad l got to know a little about JD Sumner in Douglas Georgia when JD his wife , Ronny McDowell went on tour with one of Elvis’s cars and pictures of Elvis in the trunk with a few other mentors , my then first husband at the time along with our 2 sons we were able to get there at the park early so we had JD all to ourselves ! I guess we were lucky to have that one on one time with Jd , ‘laugh with him about holding my camera backwards, him telling me l was going to take a picture of my eye ball that way , l got a couple of good pictures of JD this was back a few months after Elvis had passed away, l am not sure if this was set up by the Colonel or not l know the TCB tour bus was there , good We talked with JD and got to ask him all kinds of questions about Elvis lol ❤
Hi David ♥ I love seeing new clips of Elvis. I liked the fact that Elvis was looking out for JD's health because he drank a lot. God bless him and thank you David xxx 💝
I'm subscribed for a couple years now but the last several months I haven't been getting notifications! Somebody said yesterday that Utube doesn't send notifications and I'm wondering if it's a true.😢 I admire that when even going into rehearsals he made sure to greet and shake hands with everyone before starting rehearsals.Shows how humble and not full of himself he was!❤❤❤
ANY new footage (or pictures) is at least interesting, and very often way more than that in a positive way! We have so much more now via RU-vid than when I was young(er). It’s Great! 🤗
I know that Elvis adored and loved J.D. I want to tell you something. Just finished a book called Elvis Aaron Presley, the man, the truth witten by Baby Bird. She says she has 3 different Elvis face book pages. This book was published in 2023 and is a very interesting read. She says she knew him. She puts down almost everyon who knew him, including his Mother. The most interesting par is at the end where she claims he was murdered. And ya know? she actually got me thinking. This really could have happened The part about one of the Stanley boys being involved especially. I remember reading in a few books that the day Elvis died , one of the brothers was seen tearing through Graceland gates with someone in his car, a guy who was not supposed to be on the grounds at Graceland. This really was an interesting book. I would recommend it.
Thanks for the recommendation. The book “The Death of Elvis” lists this as a possibility if I remember correctly. Version wanted Elvis’ death investigated and thought it might be a murder. Sad
You probably have seen this before, but on the off chance that you havent, this is a beautiful video of Elvis introducing J.D. and The Stamps and having them sing Sweet Sweet Spirit. The expression on Elvis' face while listening to them is just beautiful. You can see the love and respect he had for these men and their talents. Its one of my favorites to watch. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VjpNAghMKUk.htmlsi=ydFKjEKKs04fPwK_
Hey bro, been watching your videos for quite some and just subscribed, should’ve done it sooner.. not to sure how old you are but guessing we are close or similar in age and knowledge lol.. I discovered him the day he died unfortunately when mom introduced me to her album collection after I asked who he was…it was history from thatday forward.. love the stuff you dig up. You are a hard core fan for sure! As I am. Keep the stuff coming! Lol. Can totally relate to your take on the clips and snips you find. Rock on bro
Glad u subbed bro! Just sad to think that you think I’m in my mid late 50s! Because Elvis died 47 years ago and you were already old enough to become a fan lol. Rock on!
@@ElvisistheMan_ alright! I worded it wrong!!! I’m 52 and no you do not look that old! Apologize.. when you think of hardcore Elvis fans you think of peeps ALOT older than me so I’m trying to include myself into the younger crowd like you that follows him. Not to many out there my age and younger.. I still stop at a street light and if I have some Elvis gospel or 70s power stuff on I find myself rolling the window up or turning it down!! Lol. I owe you a beer for my insult my friend!
Not only shook his hans but Clapped for him too .. funny known fact is JD convinced Elvis that if he drank ( i forgot what ) he could sing lower on stage. so Elvis allowed JD to drink before shows
@@TS-gg9dk Yes he convinced Elvis it made him sing lower , Elvis ok'd it. it was an Interview JD did he said that.. i would search JD Sumner interview.. it was maybe a few yrs before he passed away
Yeah wasn't he on Elvis gospel Cd, back up singers JD,he could sing 🎶lot's of different type of songs he was blessed really in lot's of ways, but he was human also and had problems in his life to deal with RIP,
Elvis was humble at times but at times he knew he was Elvis Presley and he wasn't so humble, in other words he was just another human being. He was Appreciative at times and at other times he was gonna have Everything his way because he was Elvis and he could. Memphis Mafia speak of times where Elvis thought he was Divine and could actually move clouds, so Yeah humble when he needed to be but not at alone times Remember, the Elvis phenomenon was about Elvis' image and keeping it clean. They still hold it to this day where Priscilla swears they didn't have sex before marriage, I mean come on, that's carrying it too far
Liked the video except for the promoting of LT. Of course she was 24/7 and everywhere. Elvis wanted his wife at home and remember she had a child duties as a mom. So you kind of put Priscilla down while elevating the other. Also he was in good condition so why wasn’t LT able to be more and help???? I have thoughts. Apologies if offensive but my opinion. Dislike leading with one story and then bringing in perhaps your opinion not the original storyline.
Dude, none of this is new or surprising! Anyone who knows about Elvis, knows what type of person he was! My father knew the man for almost 20 years and knew him better than anyone. He would always talk about what type of person Elvis was! Get over yourself dude.
@@ElvisistheMan_ I've read that in February 1972 she told him about Mike Stone. But it was at Christmas 1971 they talked about the separation. It's in many books, also in that of Joyce Bova or Sonny West
