Elvis was indeed a compassionate person. A friend of mine went to one of his concerts and afterwards he was signing autographs. He said there was a young girl in a wheelchair trying to get through the crowd to him but it was impossible. Elvis saw her and he went to her. He signed her shirt and gave her his bandana and spent a few minutes talking to her. He was one of the most compassionate men to ever live.

Can you believe that by 2022 it was 45 years already!!! His final hours were filled with anxiety due to his upcoming tour (it always stressed him out to go on stage ), immense pain due to undiagnosed bone cancer (his entire body ached constantly due to what was called "arthritis" at the time), sleep deprivation (he suffered from insomnia since he was a child), and severe discomfort caused by longterm constipation due to a twisted/mega colon that he was born with. He was accused of being a junkie for taking prescription medication for a number of illnesses, he must have been frustrated and sad about that. He was not with the woman he really wanted to be with, Ginger was a filler, he really wanted Linda back, he must have felt sad and lonely about that. Sonny and Red West and Dave wrote a libel of a book that painted him black and screamed drug abuse in spite of his valid need for medication, he must have felt mad, sad and completely betrayed by that. Really now? Financial trouble? with Graceland, a ranch, a house in Palm Springs, a fleet of luxury vehicles, 2 aeroplanes etc and $5 000 000 dollars cash in the bank, financial trouble? Please do proper research before producing content with misinformation! Elvis' concern was not for his own finances! He was going on tour, in spite of dire medical issues, to provide salaries to the 84 people who toured with him so that their families would have food on the table. What a bighearted and misrepresented beautiful soul he was! If this is financial trouble then what the heck do you consider to be wealth? Too much activity with jumping to conclusions I'd say. Elvis was very ill and had huge medical bills to treat insomnia, glaucoma, high blood pressure, bleeding ulcers, a mega colon and bone cancer among others, yet his estate was liquid and affluent. After Elvis died the government taxes were exorbitant and that is what dumped his estate into a deficit, he did not have financial trouble in the sense of being bankrupt as is hinted at so sensasionalistically. Elvis is the best solo recording artist of all time, Elvis Presley Enterprises is worth $150 000 000 today, Priscilla is worth $50 000 000 and Lisa has a nice nestegg thanks to daddy. Don't be too perplexed about Elvis' finances, he is doing just fine, his company is Taking Care of Business. Rest In Peace Elvis, 50 000 000 fans don't look at your finances, we look at your heart and love what we feel, we listen to your records and are entertained by what we hear and look at your beautiful face and love what we see and remember of you. Leave the money to the bean counters, his fans just want Elvis as he was.

How do you know Elvis had bone Cancer? First time I have heard that? I know he suffered numerous health problems. I have been doing research on him for decades now. Been a fan of His for 45 years now. I do know Parker only used him. And was a very poor greedy manager too. Elvis was the Greatest Legend that has ever graced our earth. 💜💙💚💜❤💝💜💙💚💛
@boldchick101
@boldchick101 Год назад
@@rosedeluia2085 It is in his medical records. Charlie Hodge spoke of how much physical pain Elvis was in, his bones ached over his entire body, he was always asking for them to rub his body to alleviate the constant pain. Back in the 70's medical knowledge was sparse, they described it as severe arthritis at first, they did not realize they were dealing with cancer. It is very sad that no one publishes his true health problems in MSM, they all focus on how much medication he took but never on why.
@thereseember2800
@thereseember2800 Год назад
Elvis was known to smoke 3 packs of cigarettes per day, which could very well have caused crushing bone pain as well as bone cancer. His chronic use of narcotics definitely would have caused chronic constipation as well as mega colon. He was very ill and needed to be hospitalized.
@boldchick101
@boldchick101 Год назад
@@thereseember2800 You are talking absolute rot, quit grabbing imaginary trivia from your own smoked up mind and posting it as fact! Elvis did not smoke cigarettes at all, let alone 3 packs per day! Elvis smoked cigars and only per occassion; he preferred the thin ones and definitely Cuban. Elvis was born with a mega/twisted colon which caused constipation since he was a child! Elvis was medicated with prescription medicine for chronic conditions some of which he suffered since childhood like insomnia and constipation, others like liver disease was hereditary from his mother's side of the family and he also developed Glaucoma and high blood pressure as an adult. Elvis hated drugs, he did not take any narcotics/ street drugs ever and he did not take medicatiion without valid reasons either. Elvis did not take medication for fun, Elvis was a very sick man who was in constant pain, especially in the last few years of his life. Watch these interviews with Charlie Hodge (a close friend of Elvis), Elvis' private nurse, Elvis' doctor and Sally Hoedel, who did extensive research and stop believing the lie that Elvis was addicted to drugs due to misuse: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9ZQOL_JYP8E.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8hrz3XOQS3I.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H2rULAkNlJs.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B5Vx9B8PKVU.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B2HVfeTrFio.html Stop adding to the sensasionalistic lies by dreaming up your own ideas of what caused his illness!

I was 11 years old in 1977 and had a ticket to see Elvis’ March 23rd performance at the ASU Activity Center in Tempe, Arizona. This was the only thing I wanted in the whole world was to see Elvis in concert. I had worked for several years to be able to afford the tickets and to cajole someone into taking me. But, I did it. Unfortunately, my maternal grandmother (whom I’d never met) died that March and I was forced to go to her funeral instead… and, someone else went to see Elvis in my place. I hated missing Elvis. I had lived solely for that moment. Worked every day for two years. Saving every penny. Only to miss it in the end. And, I was devastated when he passed away five months later on August 16th, 1977. It took me thirty years to get over that loss. 😔 And, to this day, it remains the only one regret I have in life.

Maybe you should read " Destined to die young". Elvis had MAJOR health problems from birth. There is WAY more to that story. His mom, Grandma Doll & 6 of his 8 uncles all died in their 40's. He took perscriptions to deal with his Genetic health problems, his enlarged paralyzed colon, Glaucoma, Antitrypsin Deficiency, a condition which can result in lung and/or liver disease both of which he had severely at the time of his death. Elvis was never a smoker or drinker. He had Together with the immune system disorder, hypogammaglobulinemia, which plagued Elvis all his life and caused him to constantly fight various infections. His “inherited” weak heart, reactive arthritis, and the impact of his nocturnal lifestyle, resulting in a lack of vitamin D, the effects of which contributed to respiratory infections, reduced immune function, and inflammation. Of the 11 bodily systems that operate to keep us alive and hopefully healthy. Critically, Elvis suffered disease or disorder in nine of them! And five were present from birth and pre his fame. His heart (circulatory system), his lungs (respiratory system), and his bowels (digestive/excretory systems) required medication. Insomnia affected his nervous system……His immune system was compromised. His urinary system was not functioning properly. At one point there was even talk of dialysis. Often he is dismissed as just another rock ‘n’ roll drug addict. He wasn't taking street drugs. He was taking perscriptions not to "ESCAPE" h was taking them to try to maintain some sense of normalcy as himself in a time where the medical field was limited. No DNA, Genetics, No MRI's, little known about the addiction, his dystrophy & No understanding of Vitamin D even. Looking at the illnesses and disorders, that mounted upon each other over the decades, it’s no coincidence that Elvis’ prescription drug use increased as his health declined. From ear infections to chronic tonsilitis to recurrent flus to eye infections and glaucoma…..these arguably insignificant ailments independently, grew into something more. As his body broke down, alongside multiple immune system disorders and genetic complications, prescription medication and his handy PDR tried to fill the gaps. Elvis quit dancing on stage /Karate moves on stage as much because of his MAJOR HEALTH problems. He suffered a Traumatic brain injury (a series of 4 in his lifetime actually). The last one being in 1967. He tripped over a TV cord and hit his head on a porcelain tub and knocked him out for over 6hrs!!! He even seen his Mom talking to him!!! DR Nick was called in immediately and this was before MRI'S!! The most underappreciated factor in the decline of Elvis Presley's health and early death was repeated head trauma. It is now recognized that multiple head trauma can cause an autoimmune inflammatory disorder that can attack any organ in the body. Contemporary terms for the pathologic developments that may occur following head trauma are post-concussion syndrome, TBI, and chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Some of the post-trauma symptoms include memory loss, obsessive-compulsive traits, and irrational or illogical behavior.Elvis demonstrated many of these obsessive-compulsive and erratic behaviors at different times.A retrospective analysis of Elvis' head trauma clearly shows that Presley developed or accelerated his autoimmune inflammatory disease after his most serious head trauma in 1967. His previous bouts of head trauma probably contributed to his deterioration, as multiple head traumas are cumulative in effect. Autoimmunity following TBI has historically been believed to occur as a result of hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunction. A new belief is that head trauma causes brain tissue to be jarred loose, and leak into the general circulation through the blood-brain barrier.Brain tissue is not supposed to enter the blood circulation because it is toxic or antigenic to the rest of the body. It acts like an infectious agent or vaccine in that it causes antibodies to form. These antibodies then become "auto" and start attacking normal tissue. It's even possible these abnormal antibodies attack and further damage the brain.Elvis clearly had a disease process that had affected multiple organs-stomach, liver, spine, and eyes-but at the time, his physicians had no idea that he might have had a progressive autoimmune inflammatory disorder. The concept of autoimmunity was just starting to be understood. Much to his credit, Dr. Nick gave Elvis the diagnosis of post-concussion syndrome, and believed his headaches were a result of his head injury of 1967. Dr. Nick related to me that, "Elvis was never the same after he hit his head in 1967."Dr. Nick prescribed only two of the many drugs found in his serum. What no one knew at the time was that some drugs, particularly opioids, may interfere with cardiac conduction and cause a fatal, sudden heart stoppage from cardiac arrhythmia. Elvis Autopsy was re-evaluated and now proves that Elvis' death was partially due to codeine he accidentally took instead of the different packet he had requested from his on sight Nurse Tish, because he had obtained codeine from a dentist the day before his death. He took several tablets and had a serum level 10 times the therapeutic range.Just a few weeks before his death, Elvis became ill while touring in Louisiana. He developed nausea and symptoms of intestinal flu. He also had pulled a hamstring and strained his back. He entered Baptist Memorial Hospital for the fourth and last time on April 1, 1977. Anemia was found along with his chronic hepatitis, lung disease COBD - despite never having smoked, A1 Deficiency, Vitamin D & B12 Deficiency, Diabetes,glaucoma, hypertension, Enlarged heart, Chronic Migraines, Liver and Kidney disease, Cushings disease, 4 herniated disks, Chronic Pain caused by Fibromyalgia and megacolon. He was advised to start Dialysis but declined... He was HIGHLY allergic to Codine having stopped breathing on a flight once and having gone into acoma in 1975. Dr Tennant the leading US Neurologist that has Elvis' entire medical files starting back from his childhood all the way until he was a tough child in Tupelo until the day he died in Aug 1977, and all three Autopsys! Consequently, the controversy over the cause of death-cardiac failure or drug overdose-raged until 1994, when the State of Tennessee reopened the autopsy. The State retained the famed former coroner of Miami-Dade County, Florida, Joseph Davis, MD, who had done thousands of autopsies. He rendered the opinion that Elvis Presley died of a heart attack, which settled the public controversy. His heart Attack was brought on by the Codeine, that his body was allergic to because of his CYP2D6 defect. One major finding was the severity of Elvis Presley's heart and cardiovascular disease. Although he was under treatment for hypertension, Dr. Nick-as well as the other doctors who saw Elvis when he was hospitalized-were not aware that his heart was about double the normal size (520 g) and that he had significant atherosclerosis in his coronary vessels, aorta, and cerebral arteries. It was also discovered that he had an antitrypsin deficiency, which is a rare genetic condition that causes emphysema. Microscopic examination of his lungs revealed "a rare interstitial lymphoid, inflammatory infiltrate, particularly beneath the epithelium of bronchi."⁴ The diagnoses listed in the table are verbatim from Elvis' autopsy report. Interestingly, the pathologists tested him for immune deficiencies, and found Elvis had hypogammaglobulinemia, a disorder of the body's immune system, as indicated by decreased levels of immunoglobulin A (IgA) and IgG.His heart was already weekend by YEARS of Highblood pressure and multiple Genetic defects he was being treated for as far back as House calls made by a Cardiologist at Autobahn drive for Elvis and Gladys when Elvis was only 19yrs old. Elvis had suffered 4 Traumatic Brain Injuries in his life and the last one in 1967 brought on an Auto Immune Disease that over time was gradually attacking every major system in his body. It appears that Elvis Presley was quite well until approximately the last 10 years of his life. In the last 3 years of his life, Elvis was so ill and disabled he required around-the-clock nursing care.Progress in modern pain management finally has provided us with enough scientific knowledge about traumatic brain injury (TBI), autoimmune disease, and pain to unravel his medical history. After piecing the evidence together, it is quite clear that Elvis' major disabling medical problems stemmed from multiple head injuries that led to an autoimmune inflammatory disorder with subsequent central pain. His terminal event was cardiac arrhythmia, underpinned by an Addiction to perscription medication used to treat his underlying health problems from both his TBI & Genetic defects, hastened along by an atrocious diet.

@@kelliintexas3575 Wow!! A lot to unpack there but I'll tell you straight. Of the 9 doctors who performed autopsies on Elvis, all said it was the combination of prescription drugs. One doctor came out and announced heart attack and these autopsy Docs were stunned. Going back to the one Doctor who performed the autopsy with the others, he stated that absolutely no sign of heart attack was shown in any part of Elvis's body. None!! He stated it on 60 mins Australia. Heart attacks produce a protein in the blood and obvious marks on the heart and elsewhere in the body. Priscilla was advised to accept the heart attack verdict rather than Drug overdose. Ok. ok.

This is so heartbreaking because of us had a lot of health issues! But everyone was quick to blame it all on drugs! I saw Elvis in Indianapolis June 26, 1977. I knew he did not look well and I really didn’t think he was going to live long! Still it was the most shocking news will never forget it! No one really knows what else was going through. But I believe that he wanted his ❤️fans to be able to see him and know that he could still sing like no one else ever has! I love Elvis, and I don’t understand why people still want to put him down it makes me so angry!

I’ve been there many times since and a large building is there with his things for fans to see. It use to be free, but now a fee to go in is charged. @boldchick101 Elvis did not have bone cancer. My Nephew died from that three years ago and it is vicious. We would have noticed. It is called Wildfire because it is painful and it is fast. Bone cancer is carried by the blood so his whole body would have had it. The last and Chief Doctor who did his autopsy said his medications would have killed someone who had never had them but Elvis was used to them and they were built up over time. It didn’t matter what he took and his heart did kill him. He had a heart fault that no one back then picked up and it was genetic. My Mother was his age and they knew she had the same genetic heart fault. Five out of her six kids got it before we knew it existed, I had 3 babies and my eldest has it. Lisa Marie also had it so I hope someone is checking her girls. All of the other things Elvis had go with that heart fault. One of my sisters got a heart transplant about 4 months ago. I am the eldest and my two closest sisters and I have allowed Doctors to study us. Not just so they can learn but also so our kids will lead a long life and have a chance our parents never had. I didn’t know what Elvis died of the day we heard in Australia. I just wanted to see my Mother and to see if she knew. I found her crying in her room and she never cried. On that day she was told she had weeks left, her heart was dying fast. That wasn’t why she was crying. She was worried about my baby Brother and she made me promise I would look after him. I remember asking her why him when you have a daughter 2 years younger than he is. She told me she was stronger than he was. He was at the age where he was arguing with Dad because they were too much alike and they would be great friends when he grew up. She was right. My Mother always knew things she couldn’t have known. She looked at me and told me that she and Elvis were dying of the same thing when no one knew why he had died. She followed him just weeks later. I never got to see my brother be friends with my father. My Dad followed my Mother two years later and three years ago my Brother died just days before my nephew from this heart fault. He was 6 years older than my son. Elvis doesn’t need to be given any extra illnesses than he already had. He was almost broke because of all of the Memphis Mafia keeping him drugged and sponging off him. Even his Dad who was rarely home when he was a child because he had to leave to find work. Elvis was a very special man that the world needed longer. He gave away a huge part of his fortune. Priscilla took over and remade that fortune for her daughter. She took TomParker to Court because he said he got half of anything Elvis’s Estate made after he died. When she was finished he got nothing more. I remember watching an interview with Priscilla and Lisa Marie. Lisa said the trust was set up so she couldn’t take over the whole thing until she was 25 because she wasn’t good with money and she laughed. She did get plenty to live on until she ran the trust. There was also a clause that said she didn’t have to accept it at 25. Priscilla would keep going until she was 30 or she could just say if she was ready earlier. She didn’t want it at 25 so she put off taking it I think for one more year. It was a huge responsibility for someone who had never had to manage something that big. She spent every cent she got from Elvis’s Estate each month and she was in debt when she passed. Elvis and Lisa Marie were bad with money, maybe Riley is too. Priscilla doesn’t want money from the Estate. She just wants to build it up again for her granddaughter’s and to make sure there is some left for the younger twins. She is 77 and she doesn’t need money.

When that no longer worked, hospital stays became the norm and his list of ailments grew. The sicker he got, the more prescriptions he was prescribed. He was seeing a cardiologist before he bought Graceland. He was 20yrs old. They have gone through Elvis's entire life of medical records & now have an entire different story now. This is all the facts Geraldo & 20/20 never stated.
