I made four of these as gifts. Everyone said it's too small for their phones. I'd make it again, increasing the size by 30-50%.

I love this pattern and you make it look easy. I also appreciate the tip of the 90 degree angles at the start and finish of the opening for turning and thank you sewing slowly. I'm sure you go much faster off camera but you've given me permission to take my time.

I too purchased this pattern after watching 2 videos I love how you explain the patterns it made it easier to follow along. My only hang up was the strap thank you for making this video I made a bag today for a gift. I was frustrated a little because of the hardware i had on hand .tomorrow i will purchase from your site the hardware to match. :}

any chance on your site you could do a kit for the bag hardware/?I get overwheled wth the extra choices. like a kid in a candy store. Plus i purchased hardware from another site once before and the sizes didnt match.I would love when mention your site and i went there but could not decide which one you used.T

I just ordered this and glad your tutorial was added, you make it look "sew" easy. I've never sewn a bag before so wish me luck! What needle did you use that you can sew over a metal zipper without it breaking and the scissors cutting it like butter. Thanks!

Thank you for this tutorial! I'm wondering why the lining isn't topstitched though. In the instructions, she mentions that only the outer panels should be topstitched. Would you advise against topstitching the lining? I don't want the inside fabric to get caught in my main zipper.

By keeping your lining out of your top stitch, it allows it to lay nicely when the bag is all finished. It definitely makes a big difference

It looks like the assembled front and back of my bag are about 1/8 to 1/4 off. The front is a little longer than the ba kc. All sides and bottom aligned. Should I trim off the overage before installing the zipper- so bath front and back are exactly the same size?
