@@DavidAllen-dj7sd you're a little soyboy who feels powerful whining on the internet about cultural appropriation. Sorry your kids raised a failure David
3eme fois que je réécoute ce cover, bravo, vous êtes parvenus à me donner la chaire de poule et de l'émotion à chaque fois, je pense que la réussite de cette interprétation revient pour beaucoup Au côté naturel et sincère de la chanteuse.
@@casperllgaard7859 nina didnt like white people's crap. So you fooling yourself thinking that non blacks have that white privilege to think for black people fool.
WOWWW!!! I just found this by flicking and searching for old school music. This is Super Awesome Cover! Best I’ve herd! The Band! the Singing. and the solo Drumming. Keep it up. Love from New Zealand. 🙏🏻✊🏻🤘🏻🤩😎🥰
Grossen Dank! Great version of a killer song. Those words go back a long way. Repent was in in those days. Now we dont do that anymore. Little prayers from Germany. and power to the people.
Ow, this is your own channel Elza. Yes, yes. It is great, very great. Your cover of Nina Simone. I was in love with Nina Simone through Sinnerman. I think I'm in love with you too.
Second best version of this song. Only Nina Simone beats this lady on this song. Now do "I Ain't got.." Though I have no clue why this caused polarisation when it was first released in 56, as it is a spiritual song.
I agree it's great. What adds to it is that Elza seems to be enjoying it too. You would be surprised how many singers do not like it when they are not the centre of attention in a band you can see it by their faces even though they try to pretend they are happy someone else is getting attention. However Elza seems to be into it 100%.
@@elzarozentalemusic That is what takes a cover to the next level to me, even in a parody format. Trying to match it is a bland copy and as anyone knows before the digital age knowns a copy suffers degradation depending on how often it is copied. Watching a person covering the song they are performing enjoy it adds to our enjoyment as viewers.
Oh, sinnerman, where you gonna run to? Sinnerman, where you gonna run to? Where you gonna run to All on that day? Well, I run to the rock Please hide me, I run to the rock Please hide me, I run to the rock Please hide me, Lord All on that day But the rock cried out, “I can't hide you,” the rock cried out, “I can't hide you,” the rock cried out, “I ain't gonna hide you, guy“ All on that day I said rock, “What's the matter with you, rock?” “Don't you see I need you, rock?” Good Lord, Lord All on that day Well, I run to the river It was bleedin', I run to the sea It was bleedin', I run to the sea It was bleedin' all on that day Well, I run to the river It was boilin', I run to the sea It was boilin', I run to the sea It was boilin' all on that day So I run to the Lord Please hide me, Lord Don't you see me prayin'? Don't you see me down here prayin'? But the Lord said, “Go to the Devil,” the Lord said, “Go to the Devil,” He said, “Go to the Devil.” All on that day So I ran to the Devil He was waitin', I ran to the Devil He was waitin', I ran to the Devil He was waitin' all on that day All on that day
I am know going down onto my knees, a difficult thing for an arthritic old sod, to beg you do a cover of "Sugar In My Bowl" as I am betting you can do it justice. I am betting if you were making music when Le Femme was released you would have been chosen for some of the episodes. Actually add "Ain't got no, Got Life". YT needs to give us a love it option when like is inadequate.
