The song and video is basically clapping back at everyone that tried to say revival album was crap. Because Eminem was more Marshall Mathers on the revival album. If you know Eminem Marshall Mathers is strictly lyrical. Slim shady is crazy. So he basically want to get away from the crazy and was trying to be lyrical...... But everyone criticized them and said that revival was trash for that.. He got tired of it... Then made this song Fall. He said yeah he wasn't crazy on revival, ( Slim Shady), but it will still lyrically fire. All the Mumble rap fans and fake hip hop people kept trolling and dissing him. That shadow also symbolizes Slim Shady. And it's depicting that slim is its own entity, and Em is his own entity. That's why at times in those shots you'll see the shadow doing stuff that Eminem's not doing. Is showing at the shadow is Slim Shady and he's the crazy I want to whoop somebody's ass voice or version of Em.... Just like back in the day on key & Peele when he was the angry voice for Obama.
