Good job on summarising recommendations and driving home the take away points. . . I just wish articles were discussed in more detail or if critical appraisal of articles were more formal, that would be good

This happened to me twice. First I was prescribed Ditiazem Then I was prescribed Amlodipine. With both I took a 30 day series was fine. got refill both times and after a couple of days my pulse went to 143 got chest pressure head and bp went up to 162/126. Stopped taking them and was fine. Do you know any other cases of this happening? Is this calcium channel blocker poisoning?

What about diziness ? I used too much diltiazem for anal fissure. I used diltiazem for 2 years twice a day. Side effect is diziness when I sit. My Blood pressure is normal. Hyperglycemia is there. In Mwanza Tanzania we dont have toxicologist. Please advice
