Emart should pay you. Forget the fancy vids, this is exactly what I wanted to hear. Authentic and straight to the point. Just need it for RU-vid at the moment but I might spend a few bucks more to get the 10' x 10' in case any photo clients need backdrop stuff.

Thanks for the review! I wish it wasnt one of their more expensive stands. They have a lot of stands with telescopic crossbars. I am interested in finding reviews for those.

Thank you for this! Very informative. Yours was the only video I found that showed it stretched out to the maximum height. Question, what do you think about one of these to hold a projector screen? Do you think it would be sturdy enough to place outside? I don’t usually need videos like these, but subscribed to show my support. Thanks again 😊

i bought the same one and one a the legs wont adjust it goes down if i push it any tips how to adjust it or if the legs need to be all the way down or up

I don’t want to insult your intelligence but i do want to make sure that you unscrewed the knobs to open the legs. It shouldn’t be super hard but it does also offer some bit of resistance. I definitely haven’t had any issues with it opening. If it still happens i may return it for a new set.

Waqaar Osman yes they are very sturdy but that may defeat the purpose of buying the backdrop stands.

I got this specifically for my 100inch projector screen. In length its 5ft long, so seems perfect for its shortest length for something that weighs 10 pounds. Can it support 10pounds?

Funny enough I haven’t used the backdrop stands as their intended purpose for a while. I currently use them as light stands. I don’t know the thread size. It’s not the normal size for cameras and strobes so you will need an adapter like the ones that come with the ad200’s

What material is the stand legs made from? Does the metal/plastic get squeezed in when you tighten it?

That’s a question very technical question that i don’t have an answer to. I haven’t had any problems with the metal or with tightening. It is an Aluminum Alloy Construction. Very good quality.

How did you get it to shorten to the 5ft length? I watched that particular part so many times. I see that you pulled the middle piece of each cross bars out but mine doesn't do that. It might be user error but I'm twisting and nothing pulls apart as easily as you did. 😕

As you see in the video, they only go in one way. There’s a male end and a female end. You put it in and turn.

Hey can this be adjusted to any height? Or is it only specific notches that it can be adjusted to?

It can be adjusted to any height up to 10 ft. The width can only be adjusted to each notch because they are not expandable. There are 2 ways you can do it. The maximum width and one bar out. So a total of 3 bars or 4 bars across

Yes you should have 2 stands to put the rods on. Or else it won’t be able to stand

Thanks for the review. I’ve bought a backdrop stand from amazon, twice the price of that in your review, and the horizontal bar was bending just by its weight. I returned it. PS: was that flare on the left intended?

pogolas glad this helped. The flare was not intended but it was a result of recording from my phone and the brightness of the ring light.

I wish you would have not sped through the set up. I am having trouble with the cross bar. It doesn't have the same hole on one end as on the other end.
