One thing I forgot to mention is the theme of Season 4 being a lot more gameshow + contestant focused than seasons 2 and 3 were. Thixxy mentioned that and he's right it's been missing for a while
S1 had that game show theme in the music and the commentary that kept me coming back. The new music doesn’t do it for me, I’m glad it’s going back thematically

"embark listended" - as if they did not listen before :D and as if they did not say they just took world tour off the ranked queue for a season to experiment with this game mode to release it later with adjustments again
I kinda like the iron sights only for the weapons. I don't wanna say anything yet, but I'm not sold yet. On the opposite end i absolute love these stylized syshorizon style maps, so the new map I'm insanely hyped for.
The sponsors were actually around in Closed Alpha and Closed Beta 1 iirc. I thought it was one of the coolest parts of the game because you could choose what style of cosmetics you wanted that other people would never unlock through sponsor tracks (Yellow-accented Old Western for Holtow which turned into one of the premium costumes on launch and urban streetwear for Izeult which turned into the s3 pro track challenge rewards). I wasn't surprised they got rid of it for a while cause it was a lot of cosmetics to keep up, but their output for cool cosmetics has been crazy and I can't wait to see what they cooked for the sponsors next season.
really appreciate the level headed perspective into the game's direction, developers, and player count, hard to come by that especially with all the content creators who were involved solely for monetary purposes, great video

I have a hunch they're actually gonna use World Tour as the arena for some more experimental stuff this time around. Seeing how hard they're leaning towards the gameshow aspect this season, I'd like to think we're in for a healthy dose of LTMs as well, and WT would make a lot of sense as a platform for wild shit. Especially since the hardcore crowd will have their ranked cashout back, World Tour has a lot more space for all that. Also, how is my algorithm just now picking this channel up? Dropped a sub, never too many sensible creators in the mix with all the doomposting that's been plaguing the discussion over S3. Good stuff man!
I just hope they fix the my gun won’t shoot glitch/ bug or when you reload and your gun stays in that position as you shoot making it incredibly difficult to take out an enemy in a tense situation
That is the m26 sass for the light charectar and some sort of m4 platform weapon on the medium. Hope they add the ability to change from iron sights to a acog or holo. No need to add too much.
I really like the idea of changing the ranked cashout tournament into quick cash among 8 different teams all the way up until the final round. That way you eliminate 3rd parties and the games are very high stakes.
Right after watching the season 4 trailer, RU-vid shorts showed me a scene from Mr. Inbetween where he shoots up a car + some guys with a shotgun. The profile of the shotgun in the scene looks really similar to the Light’s weapon in the trailer.

im actually really hopeful for the next season, tried to grind TA ranked, got top 500, but it was just unbearable so i stopped playing it and just stuck to stomping power shift and a few custom high level lobbies. The new season shows a lot of promise, cant wait for it to come out
I'm eagerly looking forward to this next season. Season 3 left a bad taste in my and alot of other player's pallete, but the core of the game is always amazing, and that's what kept me playing. Season 4 looks like its going to definitely improve on its weaker side, while still supporting it's strong suit. Good video. Ngl Season 3 lost me and that was crazy to me considering I love history on Feudal era Japan. Thought Kyoto is a great map, bow should’ve been given to medium and other than that, very disappointed with the new weapons, lack of content and ranked being TA. Kind of a dud of a season tbh. Started playing XDefiant and Apex, dropped XDefiant obviously, Apex is ok, but now I’m coming back to The Finals hoping this new season brings the game some new players and better content cause Season 3 was not it.
@@save_KaJ I think they might've done less ltms cause we got a bunch of balance changes with world tour, that was the whole reason they put TA as the ranked mode, it was never meant to be permanent they just wanted to be able to tweak cashout without fucking over a ranked mode.
