Was on the Venezia in June!! BEAUTIFUL!! Stayed in a Terrazza cabin as well. Really loved that area. Spent a lot of time there. I too am booked on the 12 day Journey cruise!! Hope to see you there.
Very detailed tour. I have always appreciated your honesty. It’ll be interesting to hear what you think about other cruise lines, once you are Diamond members of course.
You both are going to have a wonderful time on this beautiful ship. Plus, you guys are going to awesome ports. If you see Zora and Pedro at the Amari bar, tell them we said hi. And don’t forget to eat lots of pizza in New York. 🤗
What airport did you fly into and what hotel did you stay? We are going on Venezia in Sept 2024. Need tips before you board the ship. Thank you! and thanks for sharing your trip.
Thanks for the video. We are going on Venezia Oct 2025. The John's pizza that you liked, was that on Bleeker street? What was the hotel that you stayed at and what other places did you visit or eat at that you would suggested trying out? Thanks in Advance.
Yes, the pizza place is the original John’s on Bleecker Street. Just Behind Bleecker St., pizza . I tried them both. John’s was far superior the Bleecker St., Pizza ,was just kind of a tourist trap . As far as the hotel goes. It was a Doubletree down by Wall Street, it was about half the price of the other hotels in Manhattan. The only downfall is they only have like three elevators And at busy times you have to wait for probably five or 10 minutes to get an elevator but other than that the hotel was great.Thank you for watching.🥂
Paul, Cindy, great video. thanks. We are booked on the Venezia next year. Have a question, Can you tell which hotel you stayed at? Our Hotel is near Time Square, less than a mile to the port. You mentioned the traffic being really bad and it appeared the be really gnarly at Pier 88. so I am trying to figure out which method of travel would be optimum to get to the port, walk, Uber, etc. Someone else said we should be dropped off near Pier 90 then just walk down to 88. Sooooo, idk, LOL. Any info on your hotel, what would you differently to get to the port and so on would be greatly appreciated. thanks, again,
As a native of the area if your hotel is close to Time Square you could walk but depending on how much luggage you have and how fit you are that is a little bit of a walk but not far at all in a vehicle. I would leave a little early and get dropped off right at the pier just to be safe. Have a great trip ma and my family are cruising the end of Oct on this ship
We stayed at the Doubletree in lower Manhattan. It’s a nice area but kinda far from the port. Very reasonable for the area. And a very nice Hotel. Only downside is not a lot elevators for that size Hotel. As far as getting to the pier it’s probably faster just to walk from wherever you’re staying, but if you have a lot of luggage, I would just have them drop you off at Pier 88 on the right side and just cross the street and go against the grain and highly recommend leaving early, even if you’re not priority. PS, thank you for the kind words. We have a lot more Vlog’s coming out soon. Thank you for your support.
