I'd watch a series on large estates around the £2-3000 mark. Especially now, since the estate segment as a whole seems to be going extinct. Volvo V70 Vs. Merc E class Vs. Audi A6 Vs. BMW 5 series. Or maybe go cheaper still and revisit the cars from our youth, when estates were the norm. Ford Scorpio vs. Vauxhall Omega vs. Volvo 850 vs. Saab 9-5, anyone?

I really hope more car parents can find your channel because it’s so relatable to lots of families. The best part is proving how seemingly impractical cars can be used as a family car. Through you and this channel I’m aspiring to get a 2+2 GT car because it’s proven with young kids it can work! Especially when I’ve got short legs 😂

Aventine replacement idea, you mentioned a Volvo V70, I reckon getting the V70 R would be a true dad cars family backup car. Understated family car with a lot of performance and it’s overlooked due to being able to carry a fridge freezer, I mean, who doesn’t want that !

Hi Ben. I love your channel and your petrolhead pickles always make me laugh out loud! I'd have loved to be doing what you're doing when my family was growing up. The nest is now empty, and I'm looking for a 6k PostDadcar fun car for my 60th. Am thinking of Mercedes SLK or CLK, or a supercharged Mini Cooper S. Any thoughts? It'll need to be up to travelling to and around France. We all get a down about day-to-day stuff, but the important thing is to think why you do what you do, and how fabulous you are at it. All the best to you Ben. As a 'dadcar' myself I like to watch anything that is unique but somewhat sporty. Like the maserati, aston, jag, alfa romeo, that kinda stuff. Anything that is not stock standard family car and a bit sporty. S5 is cool too, BMW 6 series maybe? Something like a sporty sportback or coupe with 4-5 seats. But that's just my opinion ofcourse. In terms of sponsors: Get a child seat manufacturer as a sponsor, makes so much sense!

I think the Avantime is a car to do one video with, not a series. Those of us who are petrolhead dads already have something on the lines of it (albeit probably not as quirky). What we don't have so much are rorty coupes, convertibles etc with too much power and too little ground clearance that we have squished our kids into - that's what we need you to be doing for us!

Also, bleed the clutch up amd you may get it back mate... but seems like master has gone, not the clutch

Could be the slave or master cylinder that has failed 🙈 on the Renault bus

Fix the avantime! You will need to change either the master cylinder or slave cylinder too as that’s what’s gone. I don’t think they have a concentric slave

Ben, I watched almost all of your videos, because I loved the crszy idea that someone would consider a DB9 a family car with kids. Partly because DB9 has been my dream car simce the first time I saw it more than 10 years ago and partly because I am father of three girls. I don’t consider mysel to be a huge car enthusiast, I mean, I love the design od DB9 and would be satisfied even if it had a 4 cylinder engine. Anyway, your videos are unique in the car world. I like how genuine you are and the level of realness that come out of your videos. Every time I watch a new video I hope you say that you finaly bought a proper DadCar. The truth us that the videos I liked the most were the ones where you were trying to proove that a dad can live with a family sports car. And would love to see that theme more

Hi Ben I always watch your videos to the end then I am bias lol .loving the range rover content. Really looking forward to the Scotland trip. It would be great to see you take a trip over to oban and drive the sky fall road .I did it myself a few years ago and it was breathtaking. Fingers crossed you get yourself and the family into that bigger house . I did the same a few years ago and had a 40 square foot double garage built behind my house. The man cave that I always wanted. My little van has been away for a few weeks now having that new interior we spoke about before .would be great to get it back on the channel again with all the new mods done 😎🤟

Great video Ben and I admire your honesty. As with any business you need to adjust things to suit the market and being open about that does you no harm at all. A V70 would be a good replacement for the Avantime, but probably the T5 if you can fine one. I’ve been looking at an F31 335 or 340i as an alternative to my (hateful) company iX3, so that might be an option? Keep up the good work 👍

You deserve more success but it feels like the channel lost something when the Aston went then a little more when the Maserati went. The mass appeal is a Dad with a young family running interesting cars that most Dads would think unobtainable. I suspect 2 4x4s, a van and an MPV isnt going to get the same views no matter how good a host you are(and you are a great host) Once again please don't take any "hate" from this comment as I mean it constructively

Everyone knows the best way to get views is buy a Lamborghini. Then put a video up wrapping it. Then a fake video of it being vandalised. Time to mix it up. Make a parody series Modify the Range Rover using the viewers suggestions, lift kit, external cage ect. Or buy a car off Auto Alex / TDC Good luck
