All the contracts need to be investigated, including any ownership ties, family, interests in the construction companies contracted to build the rail etc. This thing is insanely corrupt and a giant waste of our money.

That is a tough position. They will get criticized no matter what. I don't like how hanabusa talked down to her like she was her child or something, very disrespectful and unprofessional. You cannot force somebody that wants to resign or leave for personal reasons.

After 50 years of planning I have a question. Does any one there have rail transportation experience? Including the Board?? Like the song says Three Blind Mice.
The functionality of an organization is inferred by collaborative action that is aligned consistently with rhetoric and narrative. Avoidant behaviors SIGNAL loudly despite that which is not said. Implicit messaging in a lack of collaboration is discord, disorganization, and chaos in an already embattled project. Any new qualified employee who cares about the integrity of what they can genuinely and passionately bring to table would be in their right mind to question the stability of entering into a commitment that screams instability and discord.
Personality said she was hired to be a pawn . Hanabusa point is irrelevant and has nothing to do with the rail . Hanabusa is up to something to benefit herself . If staff wants to quit that is their right and not up for debate by employer .
You know what was embarrassing, watching the first board meeting earlier this week and Hanabusa and her minions eating, drinking and snorting while on camera. So unprofessional.
Many are no longer fit to serve. There is an air of entitlement carried by many civil servants. They should move aside if unable to serve because of being breached / compromised.

The rail,just needs to stop. It was never going to work (do what it was designed for) and be economically feasible from the get go. Look at the rail system in Seattle. There are not enough riders and it hasn’t made an impact on traffic. Hawaii is not the mainland. Check the offshore accounts (or bitcoin) of the “leaders” that approved the building of the rail. Bet you they have more than what their salary actually is.
She’s got a lot of emotions in that room around her and funding and the timing of this is not on anyone’s side so idk good luck people best opinion here just get it done and safely so the people can use the rail efficiently safely and have a wonderful experience I did
This Rail is the most reason why residents of Hawaii will ended up broke IN THE FUTURE…. We all know this Rail is not working at all but why the State still keeps on fixing something that won’t help the economy at all?? That’s the only reason so they can have more money for them…. Especially when those corrupt politicians like Hanabusa involved…. End that rail right now at least it made to the main Bus transit….

No. Blame Hanneman he suggested the rail. In the 70’s mayor Fasi put the rail on the table and it was shot down, but Hanneman brings it to the table and it’s in motion. I don’t blame kahikina she tried her best.
@@michelerapoza5479 Actually Lingle was the one pushing for rail, she wanted to create a legacy as the first female governor by passing something she thought would be monumental… In my opinion I feel like she wanted a “monument” of her governorship for everyone to see, like a statue to remind everyone of her.
