I engaged mine to Summer Gullveig and holy hell, she wipes entire maps before they even get a turn thanks to her four! Personally I think it might be even better for her (and by extension Mythic as well) than it is on Brave specifically because it allows them to circumvent the cavalry disadvantages almost entirely, like trenches for example.

Honestly I think Resonance is better than NFU/Tempo 4 Tempo and NFU are good effects, but they don’t always matter and some units have them built in, and a fair few skills have them anyway. But resonance is like “lmao, u get 12 dmg per hit and even higher piercing.” It’s like if occultist strike gave piercing.

Ninja Camilla is really good with this. It fixes her low damage and lack of DR.

They might be planning something crazy for staves if they are allowing access to this skill.

I just used baby emmyryn summer gullveig, baby duo robin, and winter edelgard and swept the whole map on every difficulty basically instantly.

A Hardy bearing save unit like Duo byleth is probably your best bet. precharge the special and stack it with ike if you have him so that Celica doesn’t one tap him. Celica 100% dies to the counter.

- Resonance deals pre-combat to yourself. - Depending on how much hp is lost, the more true damage and dmg reduction piercing you can do. There is a cap to the amount of true damage and dmg reduction piercing (12 true damage and 60% dmg reduction piercing). For example: if my starting hp is 46 and resonance chips my hp to 41, the difference in hp lost is 5. I will therefore do 10 true damage (x2) and 50% dmg reduction piercing (x10). There is a bit of a hp threshold when your hp is really low; basically when you are chipped to 1 hp. Then there is no difference in hp lost so none of the effects work anymore lol. And no, you don't have to be "below 10% hp to increase DR piercing" (idk where you got this). The precombat damage to yourself is calculated by 0.2 x (max hp -20). So if my starting hp is 46, 46 - 20 = 26. 20% of 26 is 2.6 x 2 ~ 5.

She is close to a refine & remix in January 2024 so it's best to wait until then but no, it won't because it's damage is is "as combat begins"

It's a mixed-phased build... You support yourself and your allies with breath of life 4 in the enemy phase. Then you warp in to deal damage in the player phase. It's all about increasing threat range. At that point, positioning doesn't matter. The only problem I can see is that you're initiating combat with someone with precombat damage or you're very low hp. Unfortunately the AI is not smart enough to make allies forward first before you initiate so you can't activate BOL4 but other that eh.
