Ike doesn’t use great aether because the player would just not attack him for that turn, and Micaiah can’t use great sacrifice because she’d be easy to kill, and the AI doesn’t know how to stay out of enemy ranges

How do you get the special byleth and house leaders skill?

Did anyone else rewind several turns in Eirika’s paralogue trying to get Ephraim to do his single trademark grunt noise when Eirika uses her Engage attack? I swear I must’ve used like 6 charges, recording several different versions of Eirika’s grunts along the way, but nothing different from Ephraim, he’d always be silent. Feels like this gotta be a bug or an oversight, bc if it was intentional DAMN Ephraim can’t catch a single break 💀

So does Summoned Tiki's divine blessing allow a second character to have the effect? I'd guess no.

Possible reference sources: Marth - Dancing Blade from Smash Bros, which that game pretty much just made up Celica - Warp skipping strategies in Echoes, maybe. Sniper spam always worked better for me but, you do you Sigurd - Probably nothing specific, but it does cross enemies in a pattern, and FE4 is known for its enemy formation spam Leif - Couldn't tell ya, I haven't played Thracia. Maybe Leif just couldn't pick which weapon he liked better (This move is almost as bad as he is 1/2 of the time) Roy - His critical hit move from FE6 and final smash in Smash Bros Lyn - I think they just made this one up, I haven't beaten FE7 but Lyn was always a swordie, not a bow user (maybe she gets promoted into one later or something, IDK) Eirika - This one with Ephraim kinda just makes sense to use, given her and him are twins Ike - Great Aether from smash bros, but Ike is also just built different and tanks everything- the animation comes from Radiant Dawn Micaiah - Haven't played Radiant Dawn, but I figure Micaiah is just a very self sacrificing person Lucina - Ally assists and pairups from Awakening, also thematically relevant with Awakening's themes of bonds Corrin - This is her weird dragon hand thing from Smash bros, but it shoots lasers this time- this specific move originates from her "Dragon Fang" skill animation Byleth - White Heron Cup/ball reference, plus the fact that Byleth can be a dancer and is actually not a bad one Edelgard/Dimitri/Claude - Uses the relic weapons of the respective lords, Aredbhar, Amyr and Failnaught Tiki - Reference to the gems from the Emblem Shield in the original games, maybe? Hector - Honestly doesn't make sense considering Hector ends up being faster than Eliwood, but Hector's all about brute force and is great on enemy phases Veronica - FEH orb spending Soren - Probably just representive of Soren's magical aptitude Chrom/Robin - Seeing Chrom use a levin sword is wierd, but the two are thematically two lords of one game, and "fight as one" like the pairings mentioned in Lucina's. Also Aether again Camilla - This move is just wacky and never hits anything, kinda like Camilla on Conquest Lunatic (Real talk, they just made this one up)

This in my opinion should have been how emblem gameplay should have been done, it is just weird that characters perform signature moves of the emblems and not the emblems themselves

1. I don't understand why Ike doesn't use his "Great Aether" to create a shockwave to kill the enemies, probably that could be cheating. 2. If Micaiah use her "Great Sacrifice" her HP will fall down to 1 making it harder for her to win.

Am I the only person who's not a fan of the "Engage" (not to be confused with sync-pairing Emblem rings) mechanic in this game? They all just look so... silly... as in they're too flashy, over-the-top, and aesthetically ridiculous looking... It's like watching something straight out of an anime...
