Thank you. Comforting words. Nothing wrong with staying in or returning to a comfort zone. I really appreciate you, your methods, your tone. And I for one love the BOOPS.
I completely agree, well, up to a point. I do try to personalize my cards, to some degree ]using their favorite colors, flowers, animals, etc.] wherever I can] but, since my group of friends is pretty tight we have a joint birthday and valentine party together I try to make aunique individual card for each who are there
Did you know if you blend those three colors together you get a yummy color? I watched a man do it with paint once and have used it in ink blending. Yellow should be the dominant color, and the pink should be a light pink, but it comes out very pretty. Loved your card, and good advice to go with the tried and true. I am always happiest creating with blue!
Hi Cz and the Sunshine Band. Have you missed me chiming in on your videos the last few days? My iPad got stolen at the Dow airport and I’ve been without for a few days. I finally got the new one up and running very late last night. I was having CZ withdrawals. Lol. Been having great times with my brother and his family and mom and dad. They have all been so happy I’m home. I’m happy too. I love my life in Texas, but I will always be a Midwest farm girl. Lol. Well good to see you. Incredible card and you look fabulous.
Neapolitan ice cream, vanilla, chocolate & strawberry. My fav stress ice cream is Ben & Jerry’s coffee flavour. Yum! I’m so excited I just ordered some supplies from Amazon. I just went to order a re-inker set but Simon sold out! I’ve asked to be notified when they’re back in stock. Finally have some money to buy supplies, only to have to wait a bit longer to order. Wah…way…was! 😉😊❤️🇨🇦. So looking forward to the chance to order them.
So sweet! Love it! I think you might have been mixing up Neapolitan ice cream (chocolate, strawberry & vanilla) with rainbow sherbet. 😊❤️ Thanks, friend!
I love watching your videos- it renews my creative mojo. I would love for you to do some with alcohol inks- I’ve had them for a long time, but they never turn out the way I want. Would really like to see what you would do with them, pretty please 😘.
I love the card. Thanks Cathy. When are you moving into your daughter's bedroom? Or will we continue to do the craft/dining room? Have a great day. Thanks for sharing.
You to you, and perfectly if I might add, Cathy! Another beautiful, brilliant CAS card! Keep these comin'! (And I never liked Neapolitan much either - the vanilla and chocolate parts, sure, but someone else can have that pink strawberry artificial flavor, thank you! :) )
P.S. - I L-O-V-E the pop of metallic cold on this color palette! Not one I would have been brave enough to try without knowing what it would look like first, but my, it sure is awesome!
I’ve been a fan since your scrapbooking days as my style was always more simple and graphic and I love love colour combinations, so I’ve always felt synergy with you. I moved on to cards as my nieces and nephews grew up and I had less to scrap - so happy you’ve also made the move. Wish RU-vid was more of a thing back then, cause you would have rocked, but live or edited, your card videos always make me smile and I appreciate every video!!
LOVE this card - so bright & cheery! I need to play more with ink blending just to stop overthinking my card making! Hopefully, the result should be lots of backgrounds that I can grab to help with making any last minute cards. :) RE: frozen treat colors -- I think you're thinking of rainbow sherbet (raspberry, orange, and lime). Neapolitan ice cream is strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. Spumoni is a combo of pistachio, chocolate, and cherry ice cream -- and one of my favorites that's nearly impossible to find anymore.
Neapolitan is typically chocolate vanilla strawberry; however, Italian Neapolitan (known as Spumoni) - at least in NOLA is strawberry- vanilla - pistachio- that’s how Angelo Brocatas makes it! Is all yummy!
A Classic Cathy card. You can't go wrong when you have "tried and true" designs in your wheelhouse. Great card and great advise. Thank you for the share, boop and all! Look forward to your next card sesh 👉
But this one goes to 11! You crack me up Cathy! Great card, as always, and I agree completely about coming back to your jam. It always works, and eventually it helps you be ready to move on to something new.
Great card! I like the way you broke out of the rectangle with the die cut sentiments👍 I appreciate that you are using the new Pawsitively Saturated Inks as I need to play with mine and get to know those colors like I do the Distress Line. Do you happen to know if they’re going to release a pretty purple trio? Hopefully with a color similar to Shaded Lilac🤗 I haven’t gotten their 3rd release yet…but very soon. Will use your link when i do😘
I didn't think I'd like the sequins but you nailed it as usual. I never use bling on my cards. I'm bling-averse for some reason. I bought sequins before Christmas but didn't use them. I't's like I'm too chicken, what's that about? 🙄
Hi Cathy! Just catching up! I have got to try my SSS inks! I just got the wrong color set and now I’m 2 sets behind! Idk how but I’d like to try to get the other sets this year somehow. I should have followed my instincts and bought the first set and not the second. Those were more my colors. Great video and card as always!
Great card! I would love to know how many of the Pawsitively Saturated Inks they plan to come out with? Also, do you know if they have the coordinating cardstock? When I did a search for SSS cardstock, very few pieces/colors came up.
So far, it's kind of an even steven! Honestly both are solid tools. Maybe I like the tonic a bit more because of the lighter background and it's easier to see inks on it?
Cathy what brand of A2 envelopes do you use? I find when I use foam to give pieces height it’s a tight fit in the envelope. I have multiple packages of envelopes but don’t know where I got them, but I noticed even though A2 they are slightly different in size from each other.
OH MY GOSH! I forgot to list them: • SSS All About You Stamps --- ldli.co/e/kqq77p0 [ SimonSaysStamp ] • All About You Coordinating Dies --- ldli.co/e/766qqo7 [ SimonSaysStamp ] • SSS All About You Combo set --- ldli.co/e/nqq22y4 [ SimonSaysStamp ]

I think you’re very creative card maker. Your designs are wonderful if you only have a limited supply of stamps and dies. My earlier remarks were not meant to criticize.
The boop makes me smile! I work at a Catholic school. We were distributing ashes last week and so e of the pre-schoolers looked a bit nervous. I don’t know what came over me but I said “boop” as I put ashes on their foreheads. They smiled and said Amen!
