The Globals and Gulfstreams have longer range and are faster but they are two totally different types of jets. This jet is based off of the E190 commercial passenger jet that is used by several airlines. The 1000 is larger and is more comparable to a BBJ or ACJ but at a slightly lower cost. The 1000E is the newest variation that has an extended range over the basic 1000 and that's what the E stands for extended. This jet is lob ger than the G's and Globals and even many of the BBJ's and ACJ's. The BBJ's and ACJ's are shorter but about 3 feet wider while giving up length. Plus this jet can land in the smaller airports like Aspen, where as the larger BBJ's and ACJ's can't.

ONLY jet in its class that can operate out of Teterboro at under 100K lbs and have enough fuel to do a transcon with ease. It can land at Aspen and LCY no problem. That's what makes this airplane special. If you are in the market for a BBJ/ACJ type jet I'd easily go with the Lineage 1000 for this flexibility. 5000NM range is plenty. Global is nice but for Lineage's size and flexibility checks off all the marks. Dassaults 8x is my runner up second favorite.

We are the largest producer and exporter of beef on the planet, soya chicken, corn, cotton... Awesome exterior paint color combination, the semi glossy silver that overlays from top to side of the aircraft then swirl like an ice cream on the front of the aircraft absolutely beautiful. The belly of the aircraft that resemble like a Killer Whale's belly, priceless! Love the Aircraft!

Bob Boberson Embraer is very flexible with the interiors requests! I don't think this video is the best example of how amazing their interiors can really be. this is like the generic base, so to speak. clients can work with the engineers and they can develop the interiors of their dreams (if it is structurally possible and if it can be FAA certified).

I know this s an older video, but my first time seeing the plane. What strikes me is the is the outer paint job. Dare I say I have seen my first "Sexy" business jet? I'd like to have that design and color scheme on my BMW or any care. It's not only Sexy, but functional if you check out the details. Artist meets Engineer and you end up with this Beauty. Well done Embraer. I thought the host was going to pee himself he seemed so excited to show off this plane. lol

I feel for what you pay for a jet of this size the whole interior seemed cheap and slightly tacky. I reminds me of my mothers living room in the 1980`s and that is not a compliment as no one ever accused my mother of having a classy taste in styles. In a 50 million dollar aircraft the interior should not look like it was ripped straight from a $150k motor home.

For it's size a bargain - when compared to G650, Falcon 8x, etc. They do however have greater range. Business Jets are a bit like yachts - you would want to fly a long way with full pax. A 16 pax jet is best suited for 8 or less on ultra long haul.

Clive Sinclair yes it seams a little backwards, so much size and room but I guess you really pay for the performance and range of the falcons and G650's. Love the size but would almost want 2 machines if owning the 1000.

Todos os que estão reclamando nos comentários não tem dinheiro pra comprar um desses, não chegam perto nem da roda, estão deveriam se calar. Um avião como esse só sai da fabrica sob encomenda, tudo o que há nesse exemplar provavelmente foi escolhido por um cliente, ou seja, se quiser um interior mais refinado e uma tv maior terá que pedir quando estiver fazendo a sua encomenda. Vejam outros vídeos de outros jatos da Embraer e perceberá como a empresa diversifica os interiores de acordo com o gosto dos clientes.

I really dislike the the spotted LED floor lighting (e.g. 1:23) It makes it look like a cheap IKEA adhesive strip in my opinion.

Dan Agreed, looks cheap. Not a design flaw of using LED (as they should) or a high-gloss floor, the lighting just needs a diffusion layer to give the appearance of a solid line of light. Simple and inexpensive oversight.

this jet is set to compete with 737 max bbj and a320 acj coperate jet at 50million dollars its almost half the cost of the airbus and 25 million dollars less then the boeing that a huge cost savings it has similar range and similar speed to the boeing and airbus at half the operating cost per hour compare to them giving up almost nothing in terms of interior space while being able to operate in more airfields. another rival would be the gulfstream 550 it cost about the same as the embraer it does have 30 percent more range and its slightly faster its deffinitly a more practicle aircraft but your giving up alot of interior space the 2 plane is the difference between an benz s class level of luxury and a luxury motorhome sure the s class is luxurious but it still just a car with seats while the motorhome have beds shower and living room the emberer is like flying home while the gulfstream feels like a flying vip car this plane is honestly unbeatable when it comes to value it has the look of privite airliner while having the operating cost of typical buiness jet

The video does not show the 2 other lavatories... Also, at some point, it is said that this is the only jet with 3 lavatories, which I think is not true... If I am not mistaken the Falcon also has 3 lavs.
