When embroidering small text the pre made fonts within the software is just not digitised well enough. For the best results possible you have to digitise each letter specifically! What appears well on screen does not always get good results. 60 weight thread rayon thread will get better results than polyester. Centre line can depend on material...firm twill material does not need underlay but thicker knit garments would.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your videos on this machine. I want to buy an affordable machine but I need small text for quilt labels and these have been so helpful!
1. Manually digitizing the small text in the same direction (satin) 2. Decrease density if using the text tool. 3. Run stitches and double back, if they're very small.

@@adubbproductions Yep, learned it from Erich Campbell and John Deer. An example would be a T, usually T's have 2 directions of satins (top bar and middle). Instead, digitize the T in one direction, so the top bar is also, going left right satin. Really depends on the font you're digitizing.
Ok, I was close! I was right on the needle size. Didn't really think about the thread wt. Other than the bobbin suggestion being 40 wt and 60 on top, I didn't realize there were different wts of embroidery thread!
Great video! Just got a SE700 not to long ago.. just broke it in. Had some issues on a logo with small text on it but this video was on point and helped a lot. I have an idea of what adjustments to make so thank you! 🙏🏼 Question, the higher the number on wt , the finer the thread right ? I have standard brothread 40wt thread, so I would have to go higher wt for a finer thread? Thanks again! All your videos are always helpful
Just an FYI. 75D and 120D refer to Denier. Definition: A denier as a unit of measurement equals one gram of mass per 9,000 meters of length. In other words, if you were to gather up 9 kilometers (9,000 meters) in length of a given thread to weigh, that weight (in grams) would equal the denier of that thread. Great video!

Ok. I read it slow and i get it. So the D (Denier) is a combination of the weight of the thread and the length. Mass and length. Correct? I just need to repeat it to make sure I’m getting it. Is that right?

Yes but It's on the side of the machine. How would I cut a tiny small piece and not pull even more thread threw the needle? You have to pull more thread threw the needle to get to the cutter on the side, that would defeat the purpose.

hi. please help me. I don't know if you covered this but my design is 2.46x3.78 (not too small) the tension is on 4 but the thread keeps gathering underneath near the bobbin. what am i doing wrong? i follow your vids to make sure the bobbin is tightly wound, top thread is in proper placing
When digitizing text the center line is a straight line the machine lays down before it starts embroidering the stitches of that letter. It helps keep the text straight. To add or delete varies from the different softwares. Just look for the text attributes or something along those lines and you will find the editable elements of the text.
