Fairly new to carp fishing, but what has happened in the past, as some fisheries have ‘no guns’ as a rule. At what point on AOB in the committee meeting has somebody said ‘yeah, no guns from now on needs to be added’
Thanks for watching pal and getting involved. On my syndicate they tried to shut the lake down because local youths had been shooting swans. Lucky we have a no guns rule so it made it a bit easier to fight our corner.
Yes I totally agree rules are there for a reason and if you don't want yo fish the rules don't go...if there was no rules it would be a free for all ..rules puts everyone on a level equal pegging with no advantage on the guy next to you..and as for spit checks I personally don't see the problem if you have nothing to hide
I agree and do crush the barb myself pal on places that say its ok, quick tshirt test and its as good as barbless but what im saying is it specifically says no crushed barbs ect it was ment as just an example of people who dont follow the rules not as in crushed barbs are bad as i dont think that. Does that make sense
Hi m8 Think the look on ya face lieing in the bivvy says it all... 🙄 We had a A Teamer at the lake last year caught with 4 rigs in its mouth, 4lb down since previous capture, rigs were awful to say the least...we now have no nonsence checks, abide by the rules or ya off and dnt return !!!! It was one of them sessions pal, life had been hectic, hate turning up doing no prep as im proper ocd! Your joking, the fish i had that was my pb at cromwell was a mid 30 then dropped to 26 after becoming tethered and is now back up to weigh thankfully the owner was saying. Dont get me wrong im no expert but i try my best to get it right fishcare wise 👌🏻 we are back there soon so that fish will be in the video, we’ve had 2 lake exclusive dates booked so Im putting it into one video. Fingers crossed i nab another 👌🏻
Great Vlog A friend with a Frontier pole snapped in the block, a friend of his made inserts to strengthen the front poles into the Block. The inserts were for sale, leave a message if you want some info.

That lake is owned by fairbrass, but for years hes been crushing the barbs and prompting it on tons of his korda videos. So what else do expect ppl to do ?
Hi people should stick to the rules , simple.korda and some other named anglers who own lake's endorse certain tackle items etc and use them on there video's.But at there own lakes there banned 🤔odd
@@darrenfox1879 Not odd at all, if you could use crushed barbs then you wouldn't buy their barbless hooks, its all a ploy to sell their tackle. Well known carp anglers getting into the tackle and bait trade is the worse thing that happened to carp fishing,
You know it's a blank when you start with a flat tire mate lol but fair play, you done everything you could of to get a bite. When it comes to the rules I totally agree, if you go into someone's house you wouldn't smoke or leave you shoes on if they didn't want you to, you have to respect the rules. How did you get on with the bivvy, did you get it sorted in the end?
Morning Arron. It was a propper nightmare of a day pal that 😂. Thats a really good way of putting it to be fair i like that! The Bivvy is like a new one now it mush have been defective from the start as they sent me a whole new block/mech and it works a dream. I love it but its heavy
Agree completely with you Lee about sticking to the lake rules, and the affects some non compliant anglers have on certain lakes and fisheries. In the last few days, a fishery near to me has introduced line checks after barbed hooks were found in three separate fish. Everyone suffers the disturbance of line checks now due to a few anglers who don't follow the barbless hooks only rule.

Great to see you back lee if we caught every time it would be called catching not fishing, unfortunately you are always going to get people who don’t follow the rules and that annoys the hell out of me , I was at my local members lake the other day went out in the boat to remover some snags and found a death rig with a fixed lead on the leader was fuming obviously people don’t know how to fish, great vlog bro bring on the next much 💙 boys

My thoughts on rules are they are there for everyone to follow, totally agree with your comments on people not following them, rig checks definitely as for me it’s about looking after the fish we angle for mate, of late there has been one to many pictures on lakes I have fished where rigs have been found that are absolutely shocking, from death rigs to hooks that are old and rusty and blunt, ( boils my p&@s mate) Already looking forward to your next blog mate Tight lines
Mate they’ve sent me a new whole block and rods assembly and its mega now i think mine was defective from the factory. I absolutely love it. Being a brolly anglers im gonna get the frontier lite too
I’ve fished that same peg before, I managed to get one out from the far margin on the point that sticks out straight infront of the peg. My mate fished the peg next door and didn’t have nothing it’s a fair old hike with the barrow 😂
It is mate isnt it! The water levels where up you could see where they had fed in the deeper water before the levels rose. With the trees in the edge they get right in them tight up.
@@CaravanCarpers Yeh just to give you an idea of how much they are up if fished my rods on what would now be the margin infront of you and it was probably about a 3 foot drop to get down to them
@@CaravanCarpers We went in around October, my rods were probably about 2 metre infront of the wooden sleepers. It looked like they’d done a fair bit of work around the pegs but the trees really are a problem.
