I've had the Emerge Vortex for a few days now, & I am utterly shocked at the quality of this chair for the price! Originally...I was going to save up for the Anda Seat Phantom 3(but since I had no chair for my workstation desk, I wasn't about to wait another month.) I also have a Staples right down the street for me, so that was an added incentive to choose the Staples brand chair. It's surprisingly comfortable and sturdy for the price(as well as being firm, supportive...but not rigid.) During long sessions, I need the option to sit Indian-style and with the flip-up arms, I can easily switch seating positions....nice! The height of this chair is perfect(as my desk is on wheels, so it sits a bit higher) and this chair accommodates the height difference beautifully. Though seat specs are subjective, I still think that at this price...anyone talking sh*t about this chair are c-o-m-p-l-e-t-e-l-y out of their minds!
Same. Figured out I had to pull the bar out. And it allowed it to tilt. Maybe you experienced something else. Great review btw. I had a royo Beauty rest. It was super nice, ergonomics of emerge chair (better for my posture) far outweigh the better quality of royo, but the beauty rest chair was devine.

It probably is! This one was only $150/160? I will say I use the Vortex for hours at a time when I'm making music or editing videos and creating thumbnails or practicing for a gig and I have yet to have a bad experience. I've almost fallen asleep in it. But hey, I didn't invent it so doesn't hurt my feelings that you like the Dexley better haha! Thank you for watching
Since you abhor conventional gaming chairs for desktop use so much, how about just buying a BOSSIN Gaming Recliner Chair for Adults & cease your pissing & moaning over videos you have no interest in to begin with...heh?
