It was a treat to see the tourists all saddened to be deprived of their selfies. The Guards and their mounts must be very happy to have a break from the tourists.

cleared out and locked down in about 6 minutes! as you watch the video with all the tourists, cars, buses full - it's amazing the King's Guards, police and soldiers have as much control as it shows!

How calm the horse stood, very comfortable,not chewing the bit

Probably it’s a rehearsal unexpected just to check how much time it took to clear everything and get the people out and the horses in. Looks like a good planned operation every one knows exactly what to do, and it worked and showing that in case of a real emergency or severe situation, that it’s taken not even ten minutes to secure the place. Good job and shows of that’s discipline, not wasting any time and working together is a job well done ❤❤❤

The soldiers were not "Guardsmen" and would have been very upset if you called them that. They are members of the :King's Mounted Troop" of the Royal Artillery These are the troops that fire a lot of the salutes around London.

Wow what precision from all the staff in locking everything down in minutes but as usual the tourist just take their dandy old time 🙄 even the flags were removed. Love the little walk around to see the hustle & bustle on the streets of London at the end.

If I was there and the guards were closing / locking all doors, putting chains on gates and even taking signs down before closing time I clear the area because that's not a good sign .

I am sure it would be lovely for people who for whatever reason can not go to London it is just all those tourists and vehicles that really spoil it. Do what I do and go in the colder parts of the year, much more enjoyable.

I enjoyed the walk…This is the closest I will ever get to England..Was surprised at so many bollards or sidewalk buildings protections..I also like that you showed the clock so I could understand what time the video was taken.

This heading is misleading. This was not an emergency shut down. It was an early shut down as the troops had to get ready for a big event. The next day called beating the retreat.

It’s great that the world is beginning to see that good manners cost nothing, but being supportive is very important !! The world needs to find some Love and let it loose world wide because the friendships and God are being destroyed by attitudes ?! We have families, parents, grandparents , aunt’s , uncles, , cousins, children all sizes , and we have villages, towns , City’s and a Country we are all born in ?! And the new world government isn’t it and they will try and mandate it before November in case of a new pandemic which they were drawing a treaty up in the UN in, May 2022 and will if all governments agree ?!, will be able to call and emergency lock down and vac’s man dated for the world health foundation in November 2023 , and if we ignore it and do nothing they will take it as a Yes for the new world travel regulations by the world health foundation even if it’s a mild virus ?! We should all ask for a referendum in every Country about the health foundation treaty in the Unity Nation , ask why they have not made it front page news ?!
