I had a chow. My parents and I didn’t realize, she came in heat. She was in a pen. Well my dad’s dog a beagle breed her through the fence. She had beautiful puppies. A body like a beagle and the coat was a sandy red like my dog Sandy. We had no trouble finding them homes. She did have a litter of chow puppies registered. We did not have trouble finding them homes. If I remember correctly, my parents had calls asking for half chow and half beagle puppies.

If I were Bella's owner, one of the pups would be named Chris, another would be named Brownie, and I'd have Bella scheduled for a spay surgery asap!

So after the patient has the babies get their milk, the patient will end up spayed so there isn't a loss of nutrients. Just wanted to let you know.

@@anglepsycho Yeah, what I meant by get her scheduled asap was as soon as it's best for Bella and her pups, which is normally after the puppies are weaned. Sorry if that wasn't clear

👉 Since owner said he would never put Bella through puppies again, I'm wondering why I never heard a discussion about spaying her while she was under. It would have been a perfect time !!! ♥️🐶♥️

My understanding from other videos on this channel (but I could be wrong, of course) is that they don't desex them until after they have finished feeding their babies, as it can dry up their milk supply.

I lost my beautiful Papillion over a year ago, he was 11. I shoukd have bred him because he was so smart loyal and beautiful. I think of things when it was too late. I loved him.

Offsprings are not clones. The puppies would not necessarily have been great replacements for your dog and you can get another amazing papillon from a good professional breeder if you like the breed. Also, I don't know what your dog died of, but 11 is really below life-expectancy for the breed (papillons can live to be 16) so even though he was a great dog, he might not have been the best option to sire puppies health-wise.

@mayaklast6334 He was bit by a tick and got lyme disease, he was treated for 28 days of antibiotics, but it just kept coming back on him he would lose the use of his legs and would stop eating. He had a flee and tick collar, but I think it was due to be replaced, and I forgot to get a new one. I know he can't be replaced. I miss him so much after 3 years.

Why do people still breed pugs, knowing how unhealthy they are?!? Extreme breeds really ought not be bred. It’s cruel to the animals to endure chronic shortness of breath, inability to have pups without human intervention, chronically dislocated hips, etc.
