Also P definitely wasn't listening when Kenny was talking. P was arguing a previous point and Kenny was agreeing with Mike when he was addressing more of clutch bucket aspect. Which is why Kenny was stressing the fourth quarter finals performance.
@@nasa2284 in the finals, you need it throughout the whole game. Yeah they won, but if they lost, you blame Jrue's whole performance throughout the game, you don't look at the fact that he actually started playing good in the 4th 😭
Pierre had me dead the whole pod correcting every minor detail/mistake😭 bro said “I didn’t mean to make you lose your train of thought over some little shit”
I wish P ain’t get upset sometimes bc the debates we’d get would be legendary, kenny lowkey right on this one bc he corrected himself but p just don’t wanna listen 🤣
P is the friend ya never argue with not cause he always right but cause it feels like you’re hurting dudes feelings. Fine line between passionate and argumentative. Love the pod tho wouldn’t be the same without P for sure
@@deaaronfoxenjoyer2329over the last two seasons, Jrue has shot 39.6% from 3 on 5.5 attempts/game. Only 43% of his makes were assisted on as well, so he created plenty of his own looks.
bruh pierre always do this shit lmao. I swear to god every time there’s ever been an argument like that he’s been in the wrong every time and he still keep doin it
P tweaking off a bucket getter technicality had me dying ahaha when them boys were just saying Jrue is a dece consolation prize and he was NOT having it LOL
P said that there were moments when we were asking for more from Jrue where we needed more. KB said no, he was doing his thing in the finals. KB was wrong.
Aye Pierre trippin, Kenny conceded that Jrue wasn’t a bucket getter, however, after, he said he could get you a bucket when it counts like he did in the finals. Pierre got stuck on that and didn’t realise Kenny agreed with him. I agree with P that Jrue ain’t a bucket getter but him damn sure will come through when you need him. Great pod tho, shit was funny as hell😂
Kenny won that argument they agreed with each other for the most part, but then P looked up the stats and switched up it ruin the flow of the whole pod but it was entertaining ngl
On the point at 30:58 about Jrue getting a bucket, I will say while his shooting % in the offs was rough he made soo many big shots. Nets game 7, the entire hawks series, etc
I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been gone for a few months cuz I’ve been staying real busy but the general quality of this podcast has tripled while I was away. It’s crazy, lots of respect for y’all
I gotta disagree with P, we watched Miami go back to the finals with less. Adding Jrue and a healthy Tyler Herro will boost those odds for their possible return
Pierre lost that one against Kenny. Kenny and everyone else but him were clearly agreeing upon the fact that getting bucket (especially in the clutch) doesn't' have to equad bucket getter. Sad to see him resort to the louder voice = right tactic because he got insecure. And then he yelled out full game shooting splits as if that has any relevance to the point Kenny was making.
@@LigerHD I think Kenny conceded the original point he made that Jrue was not a "bucket getter", of course even guys like Herro / Poole / Clarkson are better at purely putting the ball in the hoop, but that doesn't take away from Jrue and his persistence / big 3 point shooting / physical rim drives late in games or in the 4th quarter when the ball is in his hands.
@@lookitsyourpapi the nets aren't contending and definitely shouldn't get any older. As they said he probably requires a first and that's just a big L for a team like the nets
I feel like Jrue is getting slept on here so I have to comment… As a Bucks fan he’s great at everything and can hit you with a deadly step back three as well. Along with being able to post up on a lot of guards and get a tough bucket. Is he Dame offensively? Obviously not, but his ability to facilitate and be a three level shot creator is really underrated as this is showing. He is probably the most complete guard in the game when you factor in versatility and too many people act like he’s not.
P is remembering correctly. Jrue had moments. But he was not spazzing in any shape or form. I remember watching that finals thinking he needed to be better offensively.
Kenny totally wrong. Jrue averaged 17.9 ppg on 39 Fg% and 30 3pt% over the last 3 years for the bucks in the playoffs. Was sub 50ts%. He was absolutely atrocious offensively in the post season his entire run with the bucks, that’s the entire reason Milwaukee made this trade. Jrue having literally only 1 or 2 games out of an entire playoff run where he hit pull up 3s was just lucky/variance and showed how unreliable he was.
