Liam seems like a genuine, but easily influenced man. He was in bad company, and while it's good to see a family man succeed, I will always be cautious of the easily swayed, especially after the coof.
Yellowflash 2 accusing you of being in a whisper network is pure projection given what he did few months ago. This FNT proved you right EVS, they did not defend their fanbase as their guest attacked them continuously.
Great livestream, Ethan ! ! Hail Comicsgate. Thanks again, E, for reposting this livestream as I missed the first hour. Now I'm caught up on this one. Gonna watch the next one as soon as I can.
"You work for BIC, how could you be so dishonest?" BIC was always clickbait trash. It was never good journalism, including when John F. Trent was there. But Nerdrotic, Rippa, the rest of 'em, and EVS-whether he wants to hear it or not-all gave them a pass because they provided positive coverage for all Fandom Menace-related RU-vidrs.
He accidentally showed an uncensored puppet show. The stream was excessively long so he had to reupload it in chunks with that one bit cut out. Not sure where the rest is at the moment but he said its coming back.
Bounding Into Comics is NOT a conservative media outlet. It was bought out, and when that happened people were brought in to put pressure on (former) employees to curtail some very basic truths of situations being written about - and to follow the corporate line of letting it all go through without note (such as Ed Piskor). Bounding will play it vanilla in most cases now, and have more in common with CBR then with the old brand (pre-take-over) or any conservative readers.
Artists are their own worst enemies. The fact that so many of them are flaky, irresponsible, and unprofessional will be why AI art will succeed and replace so many of them-within companies and for individuals looking for illustrations. Not everyone has the time and patience to search for hours upon hours for artists within their price range and with a style they like. I got lucky and found one (and commission her nonstop lol), but not before being randomly ghosted by a few other artists.
heh so the missing 3 hours must be horrible LOL i was cranking along with mundane brainless work, when the show went private, it was just after the part where EVS faked closing the stream and went back to watching Nick. anywho i didnt get much done after that lol
Is Chrissy Mayr going to dress up as comic book girl 19 and do a rap now? Frostbitten! Or was Frosk just an acceptable target for punching attacking chat.
by hiring actual comic artists and writers eric could turn his comic bidness around, but unlike liam who became a better person with the criticisms he received, eric has remained a despicable person.
When did all the Fandom Menace fall out of wack with each other? I must've missed a few posts somewhere, does this go all the way back to the Snyder interview?
There's a sloppy line between professional behavior and comic creators that's the source of all weirdness and butthurt feelings in this business. Creators need to wall off the two worlds to some degree - your creativity & talent need to be nurtured away from the business space for you to be satisfied , and your business relations need a certain amount of space on their own. Like the 2 hemispheres of the brain in a way.
CBG19 calling the chat incels seemed like a pretty tame jab. Bunch of sooks. CBG19 has made some great stuff over the years. I've dropped in and out of her stuff. Her X-Men vids are really good. Prob knows more about comic books than most of that chat too.
