Sittol Architects and Associates Limited is a team of dedicated designers committed to developing work informed by contextual forces and combining their client’s goals and visions for form, function, and enjoyment. Their design approach is rooted in collaboration across other disciplines and professions to create designs that are part of a greater picture for our neighbourhoods and cities. They design buildings that simply connect people to their environment and consider the best nature has to offer, whether through natural light, the natural flow of air, or considering means of bringing the “outside” in.
The Emerging Practice Lecture Series is a collaboration between Island City Lab and the Caribbean Architecture Students Association that highlights recent Caribbean architectural practices with distinct methodologies. These practices produce accomplished bodies of work rooted in the praxis of designing in the Caribbean context and all that means, culturally, materially, economically, and politically.
