Emerson 34C Tombstone Tube Radio Video #2 - Bad Capacitors Replaced

There is a number of paper/wax capacitors that all appear to be in bad shape. When testing the radio, I noticed some oscillations that suggest poor decoupling probably due to the bad wax capacitors. I begin replacing them and testing the radio after each one to see if the 'birdies' disappear.

Motorboating means bad coupling caps. Replace them all. Check the tubes. These are easy radios to get going.

Your interference is probably from a CdS device. Switching the device off and on, like a dusk to dawn light.
